558 Blackpool

I heard 558 as we prepared Huey 509 to launch for her slot in the Blackpool display. By all accounts not much to write home about as 558 did a fly by followed by a spiral climb and then disappeared. Had the pleasure of being parked on the ramp next to the Lancaster with the Huey and watched her start up and depart. Absolutely wonderfull!!

Still green all over. Must have been the trick of the light. Has had the red/white and blue bands on the tail shortly after she arrived in 2005. She indeed was heading for Lasham. Staying down south the go to Odiham on the 22nd.

Huey 509 spotted

Huey 509 out and about last weekend along the fyld coast to Lytham Hall.

Transiting this Friday 23rd May to Thruxton and Beaulieu. Following weekend at Newby Hall near Ripon.
