Well if u can’t get owt from there u can get quite a lot from EGNM (Leeds). Bmi operated this summer each weekday with a Emb-135 and a F100, and at weekends there was a bmi 735, F100 and F70 sched’d at peak times. BRAL also flew a ATP but i don’t know whether that was a private charter flight. The flights between Alderney and Jersey are operated by Aurigny by Trislander if my memory serves me right!!

…and the low flying BA Jumbo at EGNM – we’ve ad a couple of gud un’s – the AF Concorde on it’s first visit in 1986 did a flypast at about 50ft above and apparently he had to declair an excess crosswind emergency to do it or something!! – we’ve also had a nice take off by a Virgin 747 which entered into a circuit at less that 100ft off the ground – i missed the latter but what a sight it must have been!!

    RE: Keenair

It can’t of been too long ago that BE Pulled out because last winter 2 flights to NM had to divert there because the weather was so bad at EGNT and NJ. There was no1 from servisair at humberside and i heard them sat soemthing about they had a ground contract there.

Also the Keenair EMB-110’s had there maintenance done at EGNM by Multiflight. They had a contract with Lambson Aviation (formally operated a/c under the name Knight Air) which specialised in the EMB-110’s

    Dear Sir,

Your outsized cargo load has unfortuantly missed it’s slot due to extensive holding required by based aircraft.
