Hi Darren,
The BRS/NWI crossover operated up until about 2004 when Emerald last ran the route on the SH36 – It was ditched when the mail wanted to run down the containerised jet operation route.
The Kinloss has also been split into ABZ-EDI-FSS and ABZ-EMA-FSS, and has been run by a variety of SH36 operators over the years – BAC, Emerald, Benair, Aerocondor – and it’s back with BAC again!
Beer and plane spotting i like it!!
Great shots mate.
Is the white jet2 737 Now owned by Jet2 or is she still on lease. Last i remeber of her was T-CELO operating out of NCL last summer.
TF-ELO was operated on behalf of Jet2 by Air Atlanta Icelandic last year, however was owned by the group.
G-CELO is now owned and operated by Jet2.com, and should now be back in NCL.
Does any one know where i can get hold of the routes for any of the post flights?? I have searched hign and low but not found owt.
RicKT
Hi Rickt again,
What exactly are you looking for? LPL is not longer a mail base, however I may be able to help with previous routes before when – cargo as well as mailers.
A little bit more detail and I might be able to help.
Atlantic rotate the L188s at Liverpool, Sam.
There’s no based aircraft as such.
Certainly correct there Lance, and for info the aircraft operates to LGG on behalf of TNT Monday night through Friday morning. The Friday night and Sat AM routes are usually operated with BAe 146 eqpt, although Tu204, B752 and B733 are also seen occasionally if the Electra falls over or additional capacity is required.
From Akrotiri / To Brize.

There was an alert at Belfast International Airport on Monday night after a flight was diverted from George Best Belfast City Airport.
The pilot of the Flybe plane from Manchester, which was carrying 52 passengers, had discovered a problem with a wing flap. The ambulance and fire and rescue services were put on full alert at the International Airport.
The aircraft eventually landed safely shortly after 2200 GMT
… and they had the Exeter frame tech at LBA yesterday until it positioned out late evening.
Those Dash’s always seem to be braking!
Wrong game – Newcastle play on Thursday!!
That’ll be my mistake then – not at work until the weekend, but it is on the screen – it’ll be Weds into Thursday then!
one of our 757s LSAD was up in NCL to go to AMS for a footie charter? nat sure if thats what your on about!!
Yea, it’s due to op MAN-NCL-AMS (N/S) on Tues, to return after the match on Weds AMS-NCL-MAN.
Thanks mate! Looks fantastic apart from the ‘Excel Airways’ showing through…. 😉
No expense spared eh! Thought they were painting fleet rather rapido, and that the front end looked quite dirty for a new paint – obviously now just a sticker change!
I still think it looks quite good though now – certainly a grower.
Echoing Lance – well done, keep up the good work!
However if Bmed knew that they were seasonally dropping Tashkent in October, provisions to lease it out could be taken months before. Off season or not certain destinations are popular year round and i’m sure many would bit their arm off for a slot at Heathrow regardless of time of year.
It wasn’t a seasonal drop – it was suspended at short notice due to Civil unrest in Uzbekistan – hence the lack of notice, and the notes above.
Would it not be possible for them to ‘lease’ the slot out to another carrier for the duration of time they have no intenion of using it.
Surely this would make, environmental, sense and potentially economic sense as this way they would be makng money as opposed to losing it and the environmentalists would be happier as planes would be operating with passengers and purpose
The lead in time for any service would probably wipe out this teory.
The Tashkent service was suspended in in October, to work out a tender and agreement may take what, a month minimum, that’s November – plus your lead in time for sales, and marketing – we’re into January – what to operate a service for 3 months at short notice – out of season as well?
I dont get what your trying to say?
Yes AB is currently in Lasham, but i was simply saying to Tommy, that its not deffinate that AB will be what he is traveling on. i mearly ment that as that was the main a/c used in the TFS base, having done 6 of the TFS trips all of which was on LSAB!!
and is not certain that LSAB will be what Tommy will be flying on, as plans are to have a 757 at each base!!:diablo:
Hi Paul,
Not a dig at all, was just posting quickly before darting out as AC is downroute now – make a bit of a change for it to be appearing in BLK.NCL/BFS.
Just a short, sharp post to the point – apols it it appeared blunt!
AA and AC i’m lead to believe should be at NCL this summer
No not jus LSAB. thats been in NCL as it was the TFS based A/C
by the summer we hope to have a 757 at each base!!
G-LSAB is on check at QLA and has been there for a few weeks now.
G-LSAC is currently TFS unit.
Get any of the Puma’s Paul?
