    If you give me some time I attended with a friend who was ATCO for a display in the 80s and I have a few photo’s for you. I do remember photographing (please excuse the spelling) a lovely Fi Storch who did FIVE T/O and Landings on the field. I tried to scrounge a flight but no luck.

    I saw this a few weeks ago and on making further enquiries I was informed that THERE ARE DEFINATELY “NO” SR71s still flying. Re the NASA one that was the Last and this is now grounded.

    Re Allied and Axis a/c that landed or were forced down in IRELAND there is a very good book by DONAL MacCARRON titled Landfall Ireland which was published in 2003 isbn 1 904242 03 0 and this gives the fate of every A/C that came down(or flew away) with all the crews names and units they came from. If you are interested I would recommend that you get it.
