    South Delhi.

I guess the images are available through the govt remote sensing departments. Has anyone tried the paied version of google earth? maybe it provides higher resolutions etc? the Delhi Images are approx 3-4 yrs old atleast. The Safdurjung Flyover is still under construction as per the image.

Except for Delhi, that is! Awesome shots of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rajpath, India Gate and even the Baha’i Temple. Strangely, even Gurgaon Mall Road seems well depicted! No such love for aamchi Mumbai though.

I can see my house 🙂 my office :). Almost everything in delhi. Sad we dont have a AFB (with Planes) in or around Delhi. Hindon does not count.

Whats the needs to disect when we can have ToT? Much less cumbersome. saves resources. just have to shell out a few more. In 70’s and 80’s we did not have much forex but still bouht some goodies. now we have the money in our banks, why not use that wisely. invest in the local industry, its not like we dont have the talent. thousands of grads without good jobs. use our main power, man power by investing wisely. and pls for goods sake lets get rid of CPI and CPI(m) ;). we can do much better if we use our heads and not just stupid politicians head.

    Cheers

Stealth Bhai it does not happen that way. RE should only be done for critical components and even then its not cheap. as far as testing goes you still have to test how well you have re’ed the tech. The question then arises what did we gain? we re’ed and aircraft which was developed some 20yrs back by someone else? lets take Mig 29 as an example. I love the aircraft, buts its and old peice of machinery that we still cant make on our own. so we RE it. What do we get? a Mig 29 equivalent. Now we did not RE Mig 29 what did we get. Collaboration in PAK FA? What is the better option? You decide.
