Any idea what that plastic monstrosity N146JJ was doing in the show, or was that the aircraft which infringed the TRA?
Mike J,
We can express our opinions, so who’s your favourite commentator then? Mine has got to be John Blake, my least favourite being Sean Maffett (Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) Or even better than that, no commentary at all and let the engines speak!
Payload, can I join you in poking him with a large blunt instrument? 😮
Mike J,
‘Twas nice to see a commentator with some ‘life’ in him!
IMHO, Brendan was the icing on the cake at Chailey. Strange character he may be, but he sure as hell can out commentate some of the old farts you hear at Duxford and Old Warden, most of whom need prodding with a sharp stick every now and then..
Don’t let Discovery Wings influenence you, if you dont know the man personally, Brendan certainly knows how to fly an aeroplane..
U & Who’s 😀
Peter Vacher’s Hurricane?
Who actually gives a stuff?
Even if the aircraft was painted lime green with red polka dots, I for one would still have still stood and watched the fantastic display by Ray Hanna…I realise the significance of the Polish markings, but hey, are we not quite fortunate to have an operator who is prepared:
A) to turn up and display the aeroplane
B) to re-paint the aeroplane, albeit temporarily for a special occasion
I had a great weekend, and didn’t even realise that MH434 had been repainted.
P.S. Did you buffs also notice that the Storch (Morane Saulnier Criquet) pilot was wearing the wrong type of headset for the mark of aeroplane?? and he wasnt wearing the regulation Luftwaffe socks either!
DHL 757 I believe
Looks like it’ll be a cracking show….
The line-up is here
What was the occasion?
How do you know i’m flying down to Woodchurch? I might be flying up to Woodchurch….In fact, I’m flying two aeroplanes in..One from the North, and another from the West. All will be revealed on Saturday Morning I’m sure
Like Yak11Fan, I’ve already done the P-51 several times, but next time I’d like to be in the front! Or a F4U4 Corsair…
I’ll be there, flying in
ooer Mrs…
Heard a rumour yesterday that Delta Jets was for sale. Would this also explain the sudden exodus of Hunter T7 G-VETA to North Weald?
1/24 Bucker Jungmeister – Would still be only 3 inches long!
1/24 Auster (of any model)
The Gnat is one of Delta Jets at Kemble.
Ahem, It’s G-BVPP from North Weald, Pilot Chris Hudson & with a RAFAT chap in the back seat.
The ‘New’ Harvard formation team of 2004 comprises Rob Davies, Maurice Hammond, Chris Bellhouse and a guest, normally Phil Shaw although last year it was Maurice Etcheto…
