Just some thoughts as the details revealed by these pictures are much more interesting than the fact of its unveilance itself !! :diablo:

Therefore I just strated to “collect” some notes …

    – the very first picture with the complete line-up shows late-updated aircrafts (with that white antenna behind the canopy) with numbers within 1054x are from the 3rd. Division … and the last two (at the end of the line-up) aircraft are twin seaters with their larger canopy. Additional the other line-up picture showing the right side clearly shows an aircraft numbered 10741 … are these from a second regiment ???

    – Most serials have beed PS-ed but the one picture with the J-10 + J-11 shows a number 50754 indicating – as noted by crobato – a very high number of J-10’s within the 44. Division … this may led to the question if the 44. Div is something similar to the USAF Luke AFB with its many F-16 sqaudrons acting as a training, tactics and testing base for that type !

    – additional this 44. Div aircraft is clearly a modified or late-production model .

    – colourS: these two birds on the end of that video numbered No. 22 and 26are early machines from the 44. Div. ! Here’s interesting that no. 22 has the old numbering system “41252” in dark grey whereas no. 26 wears a yellow number on its tail with still a grey 26 !

    – IFR-probe: Here I thougt until now it’s more a probe similar to the French Mirage’s but now it’s clearly a bolt-on system similar to the J-8H/F’s attached about in the middle of the right front fuselage. Besides that I always thought that the IFR-tests prototype was 1005 … here I tend more to 1006 which was related to air-to-ground-weapons testing !

    – air-to-ground-weapons testing are not only captive tests but also actual live droppings … and rocket-pods too !

    – and my most favourite is the very clear picture of the original white 01-prototype showing not a Lavi-clone but clearly a near serila-standard AL-31FN-powered J-10 !!!

… just some thoughts for now … maybe some more later !

    Cheers, Deino 😀

I get the impression that these photos have done the rounds on the internet so to speak, but I myself didn’t first see them until a month or so ago. Nobody seems to take them too seriously either:rolleyes:

Check out the Soviet F-86 as well – now that’s something I can believe;)

That pictures have been discussed several times – I think for the last time at ACIG – and they are FAKES !!!!

As TOm as he has both the original pictures without the ps’ed Red Stars.

Just found this picture at the ARC-real-aviation-forum !

Today the second prototype of the Repaired F-15J (942) has been noted at Mitsubishi’s Nagoya by a Japanese spotter, Mr.Beruga (who took the photo below).
This one differs from the first, 928, in having two antennae on the base of both rudders (rather than just one for the J/APQ-1 as seen in some birds) and one bulge (?) behind each intake, and apparently lacks the J/ALQ-8 antennae under those same intakes.

Does anyone have some more information and esp. pictures of the F-15JKAi !!!

    Cheers, Deino 😀

And please…..NO discussion on turning rates in this thread……:)

Sorry, but following these statements made by MiG-23MLD is just once another useless tread … but wit, I forgot !

Engineers are there to find solutions ! 😀

To compare their aproaches by comparing their configurations and their performance … YES, but this way … !

    Just a silly question !!

I like any variable geometry fighters, however seems like the MiG-23 stands in between the Mirage G and Mirage Balzac and the J-8II, what do you think about that?

… there’s something wrong as the J-8II has no variable geometry wing !

yep, that’s what I read too (about 611 help). I would be a little surprised if that Russian firm did the entire FBW for L-15, but who knows?

    Maybe because the Yak-130 uses a similar FBW-system ???

Fan art as far as I know, but it represents a better idea for China than the FC-1 if you ask me.

Maybe especially as a successor for the Q-5 !! 😀

… and I’m not sure, but for me it’s the first time I’ve seem a yellow bird with serial / regiment numbers …. … and strangely it looks something like 1xx2x as being from the 1st. Division !!

    Or just wishfull thinking ???

    Cheers, Deino
