Not bad looking at all if one dresses it up.

And they’re are still pumping them out like pancakes as it seem..
Just to re-post them here as pictures !! … anyway Thanks for the links edisonone ! π … it’s remarkable how clean the underside is … not the small radar as can be seen on the H-6H behind the bomb-bay !
By the way does anyone knows where these pictures where taken, what regiment ???? … as the numbers are once again PS’ed π π‘ …. and additional to that, what is the missile to be used on this latest H-6M version ???
Cheers, Deino π
At least I asked if it’s a prank.
Sorryy… havn’t read Your last line ! π
By the way … at least one Western Military Magazine (MILTECH 2/2006) got it !!! π :diablo:
Deino
PS: It’s a joke !!!

(Shenyang 4th generation = 5th generation western wind tunnel speciment)
http://tuku.military.china.com/military/html/2006-03-22/27595.htm
Again, from the mind teasing pages of China.com. Prank? Or what?
Sorry, but that’s surly not a 4th nor a 5th generation fighter wind-tunnel model from Shenyang !
It’s a wt-mod. of the Swiss light-weight fighter project “Piranha” (take a look here: http://www.alr-aerospace.ch/Piranha.php)
Cheers, Deino π
Sorry … but once again another question !
There are currently two J-10B numbered 1021 and 1023 quite surely assigned to the FTTC and now these latest blurred pictures of a serial machine taking off !
Does anyone know anything about a 1020 or especially the “missing” 1022 between the other two machines ?? … maybe “02” was once again used a a static test airframe !???
And does anyone have a picture of the number 1023 ????
Thanks in advance +Cheers,
Deino π
Also enclosing a pic of 1008.
Thanks a lot !!! … so, the only one missing is “1007” !
The other two pics are there to show you that the colors for 100X have been changed. Very likely they’re doing new testing for forthcoming J-10 variants. Thus Pinko’s new pic should be one of the 100X that has a new paint job.
… esp. as they seem to show some other parts in yellow primer compared to 1003 !
The pic with Jiang Zhemin is most likely to be 01 with JZM congratulating the test pilot. It is likely from the way the plane appears colored, it is still in bare yellow.
The other bare yellow 01 is not the prototype, rather, with its RWR on the side, like the first of a serial production batch. This is an early block and I believe this to be 01 of the planes that went to the FTTC, just not painted yet when this pic was taken.
Regarding the first picture with JZM i’m not sure if this is realy the first 01 in unpainted form as this particular aircraft has the antenna in the canopy which indicated a later machine or a refit !!??
For the other “01” I also tend to accept this as the 8maybe) first production machine; we also know a yellow “02” also with RWR which could be the so well known “02” shown with the intake-pylon.
Thanks, Deino
the original prototype was first seen 3 (4?)years ago,but with retractable wheel very similiar to Z-9,and a small nose cone .the latest picture probably a standard variant.
Do You have a picture of that original prototype as I only know the two pictures which show this configuration … and some older models !
Deino
J10, J10!… π
Strange bird …. definitly an early machine ! … but with the pre-serial’s (1010-1019) comouflage and the early prototype’s (1002-1009) radome “colouring” !
Thanks for posting !
Besides that I’m looking for pictures of the 1007 + 1008 !
Deino π
Hey … here are the first pictures of a P-3C on its way to Nordholz !!!

Hehe … as I just had some boredom during the last few minutes I tried around a little bit of “Photoshoping” !
I took the J-10A from Huitong’s page with the no. 22 which has in the “original photoshoped” form the no. 51422 … but as we all asume it should be no. 41252 I cut and paste a little bit and here it is !
Cheers Deino π
Not if it’s on Airliners.net. They do a good job weeding out any faked or PS’ed photos that get submitted. Their attention to detail borders on the psychotic, you should see their submission standards!
I totally agrre with You … if not found at Airlines.net I would be sure that this is a fake !
But I never knew that both bottom antennas would be possible on this airframe and especially on a civil Il-18 !????
Deino
But how could it carry the Il-38 sub-hunter’s search radar at the same time with an Il-18 (I#m not sure as I constantly mic these versions :diablo: ) canoe-pod !
And that strange nose  … if it would be Chinese everybody world call it a PS !!
Deino
The Hongdu L-15 had it’s maiden flight today !!!! π
Guys be realistic, we are talking here about a picture. Legal action costs money, lots of money.
It means even if you are right you lose somehow.
Just try to solve it by contacting the parties involved and communicate.
Yes …. but that alone gives no one the right to use it without asking !
As I know flanker_man he has nothing against using his picture if these were clearly quoted and if he maybe got some kind of “compensation” for that. If not he would store all his magnificent pictures on several CD-ROMs or hide them for him alone on his harddrive.
I think its very generous of him to share his pictures and as such no one should make money with them without even quoting.
Another problem surely with βinternet-picturesβ is that they are often only posted, sometimes quoted with a nickname and the true photographer is unknown !
Iβm currently on the search for the source of several Chinese picture to use them in a publication β¦ a very hard task and as such I can often only give credit to the internet !
Just my opinion β¦ π
Cheers, Deino
Comrade J-10.
Sadly an old picture … π … I think the latest picture is this J-10B on take-off posted by Pinko at the CDF ! π
