Is this new JF17 04?

I’m not 100% sure but at DCF they say it’s a J-10 and I think they are right !

… but if this is a J-10 then there are some minor chnges on the ejection-seat … looks like a different one or a different head set and canopy breaker !

Something interesting may indeed be cooking up. :confused:

First there were rumours that FC-1 PT 04 might make its first official flight during Musharraf’s visit to China, though it seemed a bit far fetched considering the fact that grainy pictures have just started being released. Then PTI released a news report only yesterday, according to which Musharraf would indeed visit the factory and a flight demonstration (didn’t mention which prototype) cannot be ruled out. Today’s edition of Daily times (a pakistani newspaper) confirmed the news about inspection of JF-17, though in a separate news reprot, it quoted information minister saying that the test-flight of a second combat plane, an F-10, is scheduled for today (Thursday). According to some other people, the information minister also said on Geo TV that president might make some announcement regarding F-10 on thursday.

And now …. anything happened ?????? :confused:

Official roll out was 20/02/2006 at LM Ft. Worth.

This was the official roll-out !! 😮

No name for the most important fighter for the three US services, no champagne, no music, fanfare or speeches ???? Just some workers who were guiding a semi-finished fighter prototype without an engine to the paint-shop ???

I can’t believe it ! :diablo:

Just found that note … albeit without a source !

China FC-1 04 will fly at 22 this month while Pakistan president Musharraf visit China. The FC-1 04 is very close to JSF F-35 also use DSI and low detect tech. This is a reason why Pakistan has delet order F-16 Block 50/60.

Anyway … does anyone have any news from the L-15 project ??? :confused:

What about the J10 Chinese fighter? has it finaly entered service? the last time I heard about it was 5 years ago 🙁 … Is there really a link between this fighter and the IAI Lavi or is it just a legend? Any photos, performance data?

Thank you Deino! I know very well the pictures on the left (I send a mail to the webmaster of this website yesterday, to ask him were he found these pictures)

But the 3-view on the right is something new! Where do you find it? on a website?

To admit … I don’t know it any more ! … somewhere out there in the depths of my harddrive !

I also searching a three-view drawing of the Mirage G (can’t find any) similar to those of you find on the F2…

Maybe this could help ! 😉 Otherwise; do Yoz know this page … so keep us informed regarding Your modelling project ! :diablo:

Join does not allow me or other users at flugzeugforum.de to post his pitures here or in other forums in next time, because he is selling his pictures for publication (i.e magazines).
After his pictures are publicised, he might allow me or other users to post his pictures here.
I respect his statement.
I presume, his pictures of “the Barracuda” will be in the next issue of famous magazines like AI, AFM, FR, FI or Fliegerrevue.
We’ll wait and see!

Two new J-10 pictures from CDF (via Tigershark !)

Regarding the first one I’m not sure if it had been posted before … regarding the second I have that bad feeling that it’s only a PS’ed fake !?! :confused:

PS: :diablo: uppsss …. just another curiosity: Yesterday I found a new picture of the badly damaged yellow prototype at the CAC airfield we also know from the spotter-video !

I just made a search thru my harddrive and put all pictures of damaged J-10’s together …. does anyone know what happened to this maschine ????

1. Was it a now “finished” static test-example ??? …. but why does it still has the valuable engine in it ??

2. Was if damaged by anything else … ?????

Hello Deino! I just found this thread (I was searching photos of the 4000).

…..

The ACF was a G8-02 derivative. Two big differencies : M53 engines (instead of Atar-9K50 for the G8) and a swept-wing instead of variable geometry.
In december 1975 it was almost finished (80%) but the program was scrapped and the prototype, too 🙁

Need some help regarding the regiment which are equipped with J-8 fighters of all versions!

By comparing several sources I have two questions:

1. Huitongs says that there is one regiment with the J-8H serialed 41x0x … can anyone please re-post a picture of them (as I can’t find one on my PC) 🙁 … and to what regiment / division are thy assigned !! Calculating 40-11 = 29. Division but these are equipped with J-7C/D’s with different modex !

2. What’s about the 6th Fighter Division in Yinchuan (16th Air Regiment) with J-8I’s (10x7x) as Scamble still listes them ???

Can anyone help !?? :confused:

Hmmm … I wonder why this hasn’t been posted here already, but there are “two” pictures of different Iranian aircraft models, which were found some weeks ago ! As thy are discussed esp. at ACIG I don’t want to post the picture here … only as links !
