I had the same thought, but the model looks like a wind tunnel model and so there are often the engines, nozzles and air intakes faired over aerodynamically … but here the air intake looks more cranked like the Tornado’s or F-15’s one ! :confused:

I think so 🙂 … looks quite impressive … but for my opinion the canopy could be higher and the tail should not end in 90° 🙁

I agree with You that Edisonone’ post are mostly strangly named … so You could think of desinformation … I tend to say Edisonone has a very strange sense of humor because some the pictures he posts are quite interesting like the J-10 picture above !

Kitbashing? That’s a computer graphics model not a plastic one. The ground is repeated texture map. If you can’t even tell a CG model from plastic model one, you shouldn’t be talking about kitbashing.

The model was in a Chinese language magazine “Aviation World Monthly” was an artist’s perception of the original J-10 swingwing from the 1960s. It was a real project.

Anyway back to that “Kitbashing J-10” ! … YES it is a computer graphics model but I’m sure based on the dimensons of a 1/48 Mirage 2000 and a 1/72 F-111 …. this is surely not the real concept of original J-10 swingwing from the 1960s !
I would give a lot to see just how it might have looked like !

So I really don’t understand how this artist’s perception found it’s way into this magazine ?????
