To admit, I tend to say Yous is a recent image and mine – even if posted yesterday in a Chinese forum – looks from an older flight !

Congrats to Sukhoi … The fifth flight-capable prototype of the PAK-FA (T50) fighter has made its maiden flight at the company’s test range in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia’s Far East.

The flight took about 50 minutes and was dedicated to testing the aircraft’s powerplant and flight stability, the company said in a statement.

But even if I agree with You that the J-20 will never be exported Your opinion in regard to its operational quality or beauty don’t count … necessary is what the PLAAF thinks about that type regardless the taste of anyone here in any forum.

Is one of the J-20 now grey ??? (as reported since some time already) or simply a trick of the light ???

WS-10G rated 35,000 lb, it is F-22 class engine, not Flanker. Get it right, Ruski, or we gonna ask for Siberia back. JK JK. 😎 Peace.

Again, please do Your homework. The J-21 is powered by the RD-93 and Not WS-10, which is a much larger engine.

… and to admit it is quite a large fighter (for a single engined one) as can be seen in comparison to the Rafale !

To admit but nearly the whole page can be put in the dustbin … these “my most favourite” aircraft in comparision to “Your most fovourite one” – even more when we know so much about both – are really annoying ! 😡

As such … back to topic ! Please !!!

To admit I’m now almost sure that – like totoro suggested at first – it is simply a trick of the light, an optical illusion simply related to the small size and bad quality and nothing more.

Anyway at least this is some good news:

China’s J-15 fighters complete maximum gross weight takeoff-landing training

    (Source: China Military Online) 2013-09-18

BEIJING, September 18, (ChinaMil) – The J-15 fighters of the Navy of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLAN) have successfully accomplished the takeoff-landing tests with maximum gross weight on China’s first aircraft carrier “Liaoning ” in a sea area on September 15, 2013.

The J-15 carrier-borne fighters completed for the first time the takeoff and landing tests from the aircraft carrier with different takeoff gross weight and multi-types of weapons under complex weather conditions, making a success of takeoff and landing in high frequencies and short intervals.

Up to now, the equipment systems of the “Liaoning ” are in good condition, the carrier-borne fighter‘s technical condition is stable and the compatibility between the aircraft carrier and the carrier-borne fighters has been further verified.
