congrats, seems to be unique, are there another publications refering to chinese military aviation your book can be compared to?

Thanks for Your interest, to admit “Dragon’s Wings” is probably most comparable to Yefim Gordon’s “Chinese Aircraft: China’s Aviation Industry Since 1951” but even if my book covers not all types (I exclude all transports, helicopters and UAV) my aim was to compile an as complete history of the combat types, to correct some things and even more (since that was the original beginning of that book) to include all “Secret Chinese Projects”.

Another book again similar to my first book – “MODERN CHINESE WARPLANES: Combat Aircraft and Units of the Chinese Air Force and Naval Aviation” – is again from Yefim Gordon called “Chinese Air Power: Current Organisation and Aircraft of all Chinese Air Forces” … but to admit I like my book better, since it is the complete current Orbat, it includes maps, all types, their weapons and especially Tom Cooper’s magnificent profiles !

what software are you using to create book;s design layout? could you explain it to me shortly please.

Sorry, that was all done by the publisher at Ian Allan … I only delivered the text, the images and artworks and gave my comments in regard to the layout any style. … but they did a wonderfull job there ! Thanks to all involved.

Yeppp … that’s a proposal for a Mach 2.6 at 26000m altidude interceptor to intercept the SR-71/U-2 and was called either “Project no. 3” or Shenyang J-10 !

No, that’s simply 20001, which has just done it’s 4. flight !

As such it is a loooooooong and surely bumpy road ahead until that type enters service … even more considering the interim engines currently fitted.

By the way latest reports assume that 20002 has just left the factory a few days ago.
