To admit I’m a bit surprised since I expected the 7. batch to be the first with J-10B … anyway there must be a reason – IMO PLAAF will probably wait until the AESA + WS-10B will be mature – and so long, the 7. batch are again J-10A.

Following latest rumours this batch will be large enough to equip two new regiments – probably 12. Div at Jinan (or 7. Div / 21. AR) + one PLANAF unit – and these four pre-serial J-10B + the four prototypes will be used to estblish a test-IOC-unit at the FTTC.

Just a question to this specific grey ! Is there a certain reason why only helicopters and trainsports will be painted in this grey, while the Su-34 gets that strange Eggplant-colour ?? :confused:

I agree with You that this time the situatiuon is a bit different … can’t explain why but simply a strange feeling and even some reliable Chinese big-shrimps take it more serious …. but again I would like to wait a bit until I open the bottle of Chanpagne ! 😉

Deino, did you check pictures before posting? It as as clear as day that this is horrible photoshop. There is nothing wrong with the blue underside, have you ever heard anyone complain about vanilla flanker underside? Because that is what it is.

To admit NO, but that’s due to two reasons !

1. I’m right now sitting not on my home office with a large sreen but only have a small netbook in my hand … as such it’s barely visible that this one is psed !

2. To admit I HATE this light blue underside sheme, on the Su-35S, the Su-30 and even more on the Su-34 and I was simply so glad that one took the opportunity to finish a “nice” scheme” on the Flanker ! :diablo:

That’s simply a J-20 RC model – and at least anyone who would do a bit of research would easily find out ! :diablo: – but to assume a twin engined VTOL-type being under development in China based on the J-20 :D:p …. what the hell became of Jane’s?? :confused:
