Sadly the message of instant success through tv talent shows, football, wags, reality shows, the lottery are what most of the low brow media seem to focus on and as a result what kids aspire to and see as attractive. Maximum return for a perceived minimal input.

My daughter recently met a female display pilot and that has made a very big impression on her, one I am keen to encourage.

What’s wrong with a screw cap?

    What’s wrong with nipples?

Certainly the latter is more convenient when doing something like drink driving less likely to have a bit of leakage.

But on the subject our daughter’s nursery is next to a gym, there are parking bays clearly marked for parent and child for picking up dropping off but gym members park there as it is close to the gym and they are too lazy to park a bit further away AND WALK to the gym where they are going to exercise. Never worked that one out.

And on the subject of parent/child parking when you kid is a teenager you really don’t need to park in one of those spaces, they are for people who have little kids/babies and really do find the extra few inches of width usefuli.

People who tailgate on the motorway (or any road for that matter) for any reason. Just doesn’t make sense.

Likewise those who sit in the middle or outside lane when there isn’t anything for several miles on the inside lane and they can pull over but just stay in the same lane and vary their speed.

When they mean Aisle. A passage way for walking. :D:D:D

    oops, don’t think anyone noticed.

Parents who either let children stand in shopping trolleys and those who sit kids in the trolley and then open food and start feeding them as they go round.

If the kid is hungry feed them before you, the supermarket is not a place for a picnic. Otherwise I’ll just sit there in the drinks isle and open a few beers.

Was the mid upper not installed in the first place or removed later on? And would the hole left by the mid upper have been patched up or would a smooth skin have covered the entire upper surface of the fuselage?

CGI isn’t there yet, good but not quite. Models and sets still look more natural than CGI, perfect example is the revised scenes from Star Wars which look less convincing than the models that were built.

Red Tails was entertaining and killed a couple of hours.

And that is what the internet was designed for – didn’t you get the memo?. :diablo:

Sorry but I missed the memo because some bloke in the pub should have told me but everyone stays at home now on the internet and all the pubs have closed down as well.
