Once the metal detectors have been inserted somewhere I hope.
There is actually some debate as to whether they did actually receive the temporary black or not for that particular raid.
Do you honestly expect to see historical accuracy of any sort in a Hollywood film?

They could have used this Hawk as a reference.
A real hero and the passing of a legend. RIP
Thanks, it’s an excellent photo and just what I needed.
Coming back after her run. And a very enjoyable day it was.

One suggestion I’ve had from another source is that due to being a special scheme the white was replaced with a black, due to the matt finish to the aircraft the slight gloss gives it a very different look.
I hadn’t actually considered that it could be orthochromatic and the fin flash does seem to back it up, thanks everyone.
All A/A kills were claimed by Shars during The Falklands, GR3s were primarily used for A/G and recce. I love the GR3, my favourite Mark of the Harrier. 🙂
No weapons on board, apart from the Cannons, but love the RAF Harrier GR3 in ‘Norway’ camo!
Always preferred the FRS1 but the GR3 comes a close second. Never been too keen on the Norway camo but did like the GR3s with the cream underside.
Here’s a nice GR3 with Sidewinder rails

I know they carried them but don’t recall any ever being fired in anger.
Have to agree in part regarding Dan Snow and Eddie Butler but it’s better than no coverage at all and with the film not being on every third Sunday of the month any more there is a generation growing up not knowing about legendary events such as the raid. But the general public reaction to this anniversary shows that it still holds a place in our hearts and hopefully people will think about what it was really all about.
My son has several of these, he is only 1, we call them baby grows. If it is bigger then it is an oversized baby grow.
As for the old egg chasing I did enjoy events in Italy, less so in Cardiff but after last weekend’s narrow win I’m not overly surprised.
The only game I’m really looking forward to this season is the Tigers Legends game of the 21st April with an amazing line up on both sides.

Good program and glad that the beeb are showing more than just period dramas and soaps, more of this sort of thing wouldn’t be a bad idea.
