I think 8 have already been earmarked and know that one of the airframes has already been retired due to reaching the maximum hours.
I’d like to see Duxford get one but as they’ve already got the GR3 I’m not sure, probably Hendon at a guess and if any are put up for tender it would be nice to have a ground runner at Brunty (unlikely though).
I can’t seem to find the ship’s plank, like to get that and make the politicians walk off it.
Are they doing a by one get one free offer, does anyone know?
Is there any way of removing all the Harrier threads and not allowing any more? It is all far too depressing.
Nice
Some of us don’t have that luxury of just popping in, however I owe the SATCO a big thanks for sorting out a visit.
Slightly different shots…

A complete tragedy that we are losing so much thanks to the politicians.
Despite this some amazing photos so many thanks for posting them up.
I’ve just ordered a 1/72 P.1154 and a 1/48 Snipe, no idea why, first time in probably about 20 years but seems like a good idea, if potentially time consuming and expensive
Boring gits, can you recall the serial of shark mouth?
I’d be tempted to smack them in the mouth 😡
chuck ’em back in
Is there somewhere that clearly lists the correct term for writing down every aircraft type, not everyone knows everything, how often is the F4 correctly labeled the Phantom II?
Can’t blame them for trying, we all make mistakes from time to time, can’t remember the book I was reading, something about aircraft and mentioned more than once that they are stored in a hanger.
Looking good, it could be my monitor but the green/grey on XS904 looks a little too close together compared to the original and there are a few other details that seem absent or ever so slightly out.
I’ve got some good hi res shots if you want them. 🙂

This is the truth they don’t want you to see.
Have you flown from there, Tim?
Nothing would surprise me.
As for the map, looks like there could be some traffic jams during rush hour on the roads!
Every person currently living in the UK has at some point in their family history an immigrant, they might be second or twenty second generation. If everyone who came to this country tried to be ‘British’ it would be a rather dull place to live. I rather enjoy living in an ethnically diverse area, if only for the food. 🙂
And within reason it is a good idea and rather nice not to offend any minority or majority.
