With the TSR2 book doesn’t a certain someone have a garage full of them that he’ll be taking to carboots around the country in the new year? :dev2:

Welcome and I’m sure everyone would love to see the photos
I’ve been getting two or three of these emails per month for I don’t know how many years now to a couple of domain accounts.
Safest thing is to delete anything you’re unsure of, trouble is when someone wants to send a legit email (as I’ve tried in the past) and it’s bounced back for looking a bit like spam.

Easy enough to avoid the whole damn lot by using a HD recorder or watching online, am I missing something?

I see the press have finally woken up to this and you read it here first! 🙂
Trying to get the right artwork from limited photos is a pain in the… and sometimes secondary sources are accepted as accurate as a substitute for a first hand photo, however if accuracy is important then mistakes should be corrected.
Many thanks for that info on the WWII and immediate post war markings, that’s one down! 🙂
I’ll also look out the Bomber markings book.
Just the Pre WWII stuff to source.
I do have a copy of the fonts from simmers but always end up having to edit them as they are just a little too heavy compared to the reference photos I have, hence the desire to get total accuracy.
Anyone?
Also I’m after the same info for the interwar years, any book or starting point would be very very helpful.
That works on the assumption that you have rational drivers who don’t just stop for no clear or apparent reason and forget that there are other cars behind them, even at a good distance trying to stop instead of going up the rear of an idiot who shouldn’t actually be allowed out on the road. Gears can slow but they don’t stop. 🙁
I have also seen several cases of where cars hadn’t stopped in time over the weekend.

About halfway through it at the moment and it is a great read, seems to have a good balance and links from event to anecdote nicely, was on offer in the supermarket for a fiver brand new so couldn’t pass it up.
The writing style also makes it easy to read, even when he does cover facts and statistics they aren’t presented in a boring manner.
