It’s going to take longer than two months, these two are going to be stored for a while and used for spares, luckily not being scrapped quite yet.

That photo looks fake to me! :diablo:

It is actually reassuring that it is getting harder to tell what is real and what is fake in some situations, certainly from the cinematic point of view anyway. Plus when you look at the work of someone like Skyraider3d it is exceptional.

    VC10s

As they’re being retired I suppose they are heading into historic aviation, not sure if they are quite there yet. This morning XV106 and XV108 arrived at Bruntingthorpe.

oops, good job something heavier wasn’t coming in but the question is why have a road crossing an airfield so close, looking at the layout it’s just surprising it hasn’t occurred more often.

Very boring, when I’m not colouring in aeroplanes I dabble in building the darn things, averaged about one kit every 4 months and they’re not even all that ambitious projects.

Beyond that the only escape is following the local egg chasers who aren’t having too bad a year (so far).

Don’t knock it, the RAF are supposed to have expressed an interest, not for the BBMF but to replace the aging Tornado fleet.

As long as that farmer in Australia doesn’t flood the market with his then the value of the spits shouldn’t depreciate.:dev2:

Not something you see everyday and glad that everything went as smooth as could be hoped for and he landed safely.

    Wonder what he’ll attempt next?
