    Tiger…..

Engine we requested for an 30% upgrade…we could get just a 14% more, that´s one reason, another one is why Tiger uses a different engine than the NH-90? We don´t need more different engines….

Gun is very nice, but just with 400 rounds…

Hard points, only two are real, we needed at least 8 ATGM + 38 rockets of 70 mm, now the goverment doesn´t believes we need ammo….french will came to protect us…

For me is just an armed scout, but it´s too expensive….+1.300 € millions for 24 helos…

Trigat LR…short legged against Hellfire, and we already operates Hellfire in Seahawks

And our Army selected Apache Longbow 😎

And Bo-105 is great, it´s a pity we are retiring all our Bo-105 even in the Guardia Civil, and replacing them with EC-135…

I don´t like Tigers….even our goverment loves that cat, Trigat is even worse, and BTW why only two hardpoints of the Tiger can afford 19 rockets launchers, or even Trigat missiles? the other two hardpoints are only for 7 rockets launchers or the couple of Mistral missiles….

    What we feel?

A good question, all the conservatives says a very simple thing NO SURRENDER, to any terrorism

Socialists call murderers to the conservatives, and even some of them says that we must talk with AQ “boys”

The new goverment is going to put Moratinos for the Foreign Affairs…this guy is one of the most beloved Arafat friends (Sorry for the deals with Israel)…., and they put in Economy another “Nobel Prize” one of the guys touched by the Eurostat scandal

You can see the Guardia Civil deployed in refineries for example, and the Army in another installations

Our troops in Iraq, defending their base, and our multinational Brigade in Iraq lost one soldier from El Salvador Army.

Our last (but no least) Civil War was more complicated than some fascists Vs communists in the streets, and some foreign medias says that we are heading again to another civil war…

Thanks Portugal, that green used for the Pumas was like the dark green used for G-91, Alouette III´s, B-26, T-6 or even C-47?

I heard that the EC-635 deal for Portugal was cancelled because one of the portuguese requests was the integration of the HOT3 ATGM (Why not Trigat or even better Hellfire?), and Eurocopter was delaying the integration in that helos.

That EH-101 keeps the traditional scheme of the portuguese Pumas..and that Pumas were painted for the african wars in the late 60´s like all their Alouette III, almost 40 years ago….time for a new scheme? We could wait until their new NH-90 for the Army…

Now they still need a replacement for their Alouettes

Canadian Navy has to elect between this three, the replacements for their Sea Kings. I believe that EH-101 will win, because they already operates EH-101 in SAR roles.

I´m with you Keltic, now a retirement of our troops in Iraq is an act of cowardice of the socialists, a bad thing that a goverment accepts a blackmail, if we accept one time, we will accept another at least, what´s the next? Ceuta? Melilla?

At least we keep our flag (at least for now)

Peruvians had money but their boughts are also very strange, for example getting some old Mi-8/Mi-24 from Nicaragua without almost remaining life, they also received all that obsolete Canberras from South Africa, they also received some used An-26/32 with too many flight hours, one Hip crashed with all his policemans cargo, because they bought older Hips.

Well they had a corrupt goverment, for example Alan García, (he bought all that Mirages 2000…but without any weaponry), any of all that Fitters (54?) has flight more than 1.000 flight hours…in more than 20 years.

they need a reasonable program of boughts, used Mig-29´s aren´t the solution, getting non operational R-77´s isn´t the solution, getting used Hips isn´t the solution for a operational air force.

Argentina operates one B-707 ELINT with israeli equipments

Brazil operates that Erieye + Embraer 145

And Mexico (Ok isn´t south america..;) 😉 but they operates two systems, Embraer 145 with Erieye + E-2 from Israel )

All I heard is that the Phalcon is operational with Chile, they are quite competent.

Peruvians are another story, they have a catastrophic rate of manteinance before the Cenepa conflict, after that i don´t know how they improved their rates, but get Mig-29 and Sukhoi 25 of second hand before than upgrade Mirages 2000….
