Thanks man first time I caught the fat little orange. Hmm summer schedule I think is usually one 777 a week. Not sure this one was expected, I saw it on virtual radar while at home so took a walk down to the field. With ELAL i’ve learned to expect anything from a 738 to an Israir/SunDOR plane.. just gotta be lucky.

Nice one of the BMIbaby to finish off, Gosh I’d be annoyed if I went all the way to Portugal and all the planes were British lol.

Good job on the pics though. 😎

Great end with the 2 TU154’S makes me depressed seeing all that western junk dominating Russian sky now also.

They have some stunning liveries over there.. Air Volga woah!

I agree.. i too like to find the best shooting spot, as most photographers do..the terrace re opening is great for the number crunching spotter and the waving teary eyed relatives 😀

ha not a benefit to me coz I dont take reg’s, I do use them to explain whats in my images when I upload them but not for spotting purposes. Ive found it much more fun to just take pictures.

Aww anytime a relative leaves I have less tears and more smiles :diablo:

Odd that a freighter is so anonymous. It actually is operated by Amapola Flyg and was originally an Aer Lingus machine.

There was one in that scheme belonging to a newly started cargo airline “insert country here because i have forgotten”. I think they immediately ceased ops or whatever the aircraft ended up operating in Italy for Miniliner, Not sure if this is the A/C.

Cant beat a prop to feast your camera on, good shots!

    Edit update.

I think it means “we have mixed 2 horrible colours that dont belong together as part of our dull thomson colourscheme” in german. :p

Gosh I wish they would repaint. Its one of the only other airlines in LTN other then easy/wizz/ryanair and its so not cool!

God damn What I’d give for us to have a paint shop at LTN, The random airliners you lot get are just badass. Well done with the shots!

Lucky Glaswegians! One of the fursthest airport in the Uk from me :p.

Honestly I kind of like poking around the perimeter fences at airports it means you can find different angles to take pictures from and get alot closer to planes in certain cases. Cant deny though somewhere to sit in the bloody cold winter time would be great. I was only small when then Luton spectators building finally closed so didnt get to use it to its full potential. Darn eh!
