TAM have been operating in and out of LHR for about two years now, I think they took over VARIG’s slots.

We got exit row seats on the upper deck so I can’t complain!

3MP and still miles better than a 10MP phone camera!

I cut my digital teeth on the D30 and even at 3MP it still produces top drawer images in the right hands, you can have all the MP you want but if you don’t know how to compose, expose and edit a picture you may as well not bother.

Thanks for the comments guys, I would have said something earlier but I’ve been on holiday!

Incidentally there is quite a story to that Malysian Hibiscus shot…..but that’s for another time and place.:)

I also prefer things that way, but fotopic does not allow hotlinking so I have little choice but to do it this way-unless I post the individual images here and at photos.aero……and then again at the other forums I frequent.:)

    Thanks for the comments everyone;)

Thanks for that, I made quite a few long haul trips with VS and BA during that period.

I’m guessing that is the afternoon A380 flight? And was the touchdown shot taken from the footbridge at Hatton Cross? I have never had much luck from that spot.

Weatherwise I’ve had everything from 30 degrees and burning sunshine to 0 degrees and snow in my last few visits to LHR. Might go at the weekend perhaps.
