    I note that the dial shows only depression and not elevation which suggests a ventral turret. Somewhere in my files, I have got a general arrangement drawing of the F.N.64 and if I can find it, I will see if the angle of depression of the guns is 53 degrees.

    Definitely not flap.: the maximum extension was 26 degrees. I will check turrets.

    The ground angle of the Stirling under static load was nine degrees, twenty-six minutes and the spar incidence was one degree, fifty-two minutes making eleven degrees and eighteen minutes for the fuel tanks.

    If the code letters are HA, it is a 218 Squadron aircraft based at Mepal.

    You clearly have a connection with India and I would love to know what it is. As well as a Hind, I would like to see an Audax. Peter.
