Of course Typhoons will be deployed to the Falklands to replace the current Tornados. Even better if they send the swing-role block airframes.
APC104,
Thanks!
My camera gives a crop factor of 1.5.
There are graphics and diagrams on the following that explain ‘Crop Factor’.

‘UNC’ I’m using a Nikon D2X with a Nikon Nikkor 300mm f/2.8.
Andrew,
The following websites should give you all the info. Follow all the guides and go suitably equipped for the hills.

I am sure TEEJ can produce some excellent images
Thanks Dave,
The request for GR.4 shots has already gone out on a number of forums. The quality of some of the shots is stunning. My GR.4 shots from the hills are very limited as you have to be in the right place at the right time! For sure Air International is going to get some stunning images due to their trawl.

Very nice, Gavin. Thanks for sharing.

This is the first time a B-2 has ever been lost. This could get interesting.
Good news that the crew got out OK.
Cue Venik!

I would say either Sweden or Germany. More likely, in my opinion, to be Sweden.
Great shots!
The aircraft all look โwell used.โ Not surprising considering all of the ongoing commitments in the Middle East.
Any idea what the circle with 7 white dots on, is on the forward upper fuselage of the herc (clearly visible on pic 6&7)?
Once again, great pics, well done,:)

Thanks.
It looks like a CRPA antenna.(Controlled Radiation Pattern Antenna).
Design of the antenna was to assist with GPS antijam/interference.
Example of a CRPA antenna
The pod will be the FLIR sensor. Part of the upgrade to GR.4 standard.
Someone on the following thread reported Jag on low-loader with serial as XX837.
‘Just saw three low loaders with various Jag bits on them and their way east along the M42’

Thanks for the comments.
Polish MiG-29s should be visiting RAF Valley sometime this year. There is a good chance that their hosts will take them low-level in Wales. Possibility that Italian Air Force MB-399s will also make a trip to Valley.

Stunning.
In the 3 years I lived in that area (And didn’t use this forum), I didn’t know there was a viewing position higher than the machines.
Damn. You probably pass my old house en route, I lived on the A40 near Crickhowell.
Thanks.
I travel into Wales much further north via Welshpool.
Details of where I took the images on Bwlch/Bwlch Exit and Cad East.
