AH-64s and other dark coloured choppers, Chinooks etc, are never the easiest to photograph. If you can get the sun behind you then the resulting light should produce great results. Try shooting in RAW and you’ll be able to adjust the levels without adjusting your camera settings. Agree that you need a bit of a sensor clean to get rid of that spot. You can get rid of that spot using photo shop etc with the healing tool.

It is sad, but one day his crash site and remains will be found. In the Falklands a Pucara pilot’s remains was found four years after the war along with his wreckage. In late 1998 a Dagger pilot’s remains were found in the nose section of his aircraft.
The MR.2 is part of the current ISTAR fleet. The MRA.4 will also assume this role.
Were they now?
Yes,
The aircraft flew the route into the Beaufort Sea and turn around at Banks Island. What you are relying on is hyped news reporting. Think about it? It is the responsibility of both civilian and military to track traffic as they enter such areas of responsibility. Think of an aircraft transiting that airspace with no transponder active?
This has already been posted back in Oct 2007

Korean idiot pilots need to learn to respond on radio.
When the Russians are intercepted, they turn back.
The pilot of the Su-15, Osipovich, has already fessed up to the falsification of the said transmissions. Osipovich was after the event made to record the radio traffic. In a TV interview he even revealed that to simulate radio static an electric shaver was used while he made the invented radio comms.
The Kh-101 should be in service already, just the nuclear Kh-102 is under development.
The Russians claimed bombers (I believe Blackjacks, not Bears) did penetrate US airspace without being detected within the last 12 months. Let me find the article if I can.

Here we go.
You are aware that the aircraft can go all the way up to the 12nm limit? Anything inside that is inside U.S. airspace. Everything outside that is international airspace. The Russians are referring to the ADIZ (Air Defense Identification Zone). Who says they weren’t monitored? Bear in mind that the Russian commanders are very well scripted in playing the propaganda game. They were certainly intercepted by both Canadian and U.S. fighters as they entered their respective zones of responsibility.
Possibility of the F-22 coming to UK this year. RIAT & Farnborough.
Another F-15 has crashed. Pilot rescued and is safe and well. Happened in Hawaii.

Pete,
If you don’t want to kill him then why not try a Humane Rat Trap? Catch him/them and release somewhere else.

From the RAF. By disband I dont mean eradicate, simply realocate existing forces to more appropriate commands and wait for time to produce the correct results.
SLL, It is clear that you like a good on-line debate. I suggest that you join PPRuNe and actually debate the issue with serving and retired members of the RAF. The politicians wouldn’t even go near this issue.
You do realise that such re-location to ‘appropriate commands’ would simply be a disaster for retention of personnel? People would simply walk! How on earth would you replace the experience of those walking?
SLL, seriously if you were in charge and actually tried to oversee this change, then you would see that it is purely a pipe-dream.
You have to live in the real world here. Where on earth would the RN get the personnel from? How many Nimrod aircrew do you think would re-badge to the RN? Think about the whole re-organising of UKs forces for this to take place? It is a complete non-starter. A complete Colonel Tim Collins fantasy land. How ever much people jump up and down and bump their gums over this issue nothing is going to change.

The debate ‘Disband the RAF’ has been done to death on the Mil Aircrew forum at PPRuNe.
Interesting vid. Thanks for posting.
The guy observing looks like Professor Denzil Dexter from the Fast Show (Cult UK comedy show).
