Thanks very much for the comments.
Hi James,
I suppose one went tech. All the formations were flown as an eight ship.
Hi Paul.
Nikon D2X. Most taken with Nikon Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 VR on and off with 1.4x and 2.0x Nikon teleconverters. I also use a Nikon Nikkor 70-200 now and again.

Thanks for the comments. I was hoping for some top-side shots yesterday evening, but unfortunately she went unserviceable. Hopefully she will fly tomorrow!

Key documents on the sinking of the Belgrano.
Of note is that one of the Belgrano’s escorts Bouchard was possibly hit by one of the torpedos from the Conqueror.

In Raf use it’s called DIRCM (Directional Infra Red Countermeasures).
The older ‘K’ models were fitted with just simple fixed IRCM mounted on the fuselage just forward of the air deflector doors, this system is now redundant.
I used to think that too. I was corrected by the pilot of this C-130J as he said that the older DIRCM had been replaced with LAIRCM. He said that the older DIRCM turret was retained, but housed the newer equipment.
