Looking forward to getting my copy…

I’ll certainly be getting a copy or two of that book. We have 12 JP5s so getting a history of the development of them will be nice 😀

Do you need to find a home for any spare Mk5 manuals?

    Tyres

    False.

The licence you mention covers the export of military items only. The exporter pays a $1700 annual fee to the US government for a licence to ship military items, including aircraft parts.
There’s no licence required to export the tyres from the USA as the Prince is a civil aircraft.

It’s not that we got around the export restrictions, it’s just that there weren’t any for these parts.

    Prince Tyres

    Jon,

I’ve sent you a PM about the Prince tyres. They arrived in the UK last week.

    Cheers,

    XF799

I was with the very Pembroke in question, XF799, this summer – she’s still looking good. The owner is a good friend of mine.

You can contact John Mulvey from ASTRE Air via his company web site – http://www.astreair.com – gives all of the phone numbers, e-mail addresses etc.

The Pembroke is a beautiful aircraft – if would be great to see another one in the air.
