I seen that Russian 737 when I arrived into Glasgow yesterday from Cancun, had no idea what it was their for, then when I was getting a taxi I seen what looked like a football team checking-in at Terminal 2.
Apparently they humped Rangers 😀
Was a team 9th place in the mighty Russian Premier league, called Zenit St.Petersburg managed by one D. Advocaat, and one of their players one F. Ricksen 😀
Good stuff, Iain. I missed the Pulkovo after all, had no idea it was in overnight lol.
Peter: If you mean the Aer Lingus reg….it is the same reg. it was with EIN: EI-CDE,if you mean her name..she was “St. Jarlath”

First time i’ve managed to shoot anything on these stands, great for close-ups!!
While there, noticed a fire engine frenzy going on, scanner on revealed an Excel 737 coming in full emergency (hydraulics i think), so…….
While waiting shot this wee Robinson R44:
And thankfully a safe uneventful landing for C-FTAE with 190 souls on board:

Shame they bloody fences always get in the way!!!
Folk must get sick a lot on those boats, once, i was returning home from a Euro work jolly, on the Zeebrugge to Rosyth boat, and the medivac landed on the boat after midnight to evac a sick pax (and i was sound asleep in happy Z land   )
Brilliant stuff,Gary.
Enjoy yer new toy!
Aye,Peter. Not half
Bit of a heavy landing, i could actually smell the burnt rubber from the gate i was at after a few minutes! :dev2:
Had a few flights with Bcal, mostly on 1-11s from GLA-LGW and once on a 707 PIK-JFK,Great airline, loved to boast of their “Scottishness”. Remember the ads and the song too; “I wish they all could be Caledonian girls” :p :p Extreme cheese.
Brilliant stuff,Scott
Keep ’em coming, always good to see another airport posted here.Good job on the shots, take a chainsaw next time…that’ll easily sort the fence :dev2: :dev2: JOKE!!!!! Don’t really do that!!!!!

Thanks again lads 😀
Sorry folks, always writing LUT for LTN:
Glad it is a hoax for obvious reasons, but, this is a very worrying trend, surely police could interview every passenger on the previous flight, perhaps someone saw something. I’d really like one of these muppets caught and really get the book thrown at them!! Life sentence perhaps too little!!! may put others off doing this nonsense. 😡
A shame you had an unpleasant experience, i have found Ciampino to be an OK airport, somewhat stuck in the 60’s,yes, but, does what an airport is there for, getting from a to b ,To be fair to Easyjet, they do at least go the CITY you are wanting to fly to..unlike a certain other locos majority of destinations!, and CIA is actually nearer the city than FCO(a cheaper and shorter = less scary, taxi ride) I personally would rather fly for a fifth of a BA/AZ fare to a closer if less pleasant airport, after all,an airport to a traveller, is merely a bus stop in their trip (IMO of course)
Welcome aboard Pirate.
Interesting selection there, the b/w AA 777 is nice ( a bit unusual to see a modern airliner in b/w)
