    Peter:
I was there in January when the fence was being built, the below is a shot taken from the mound:

I carry a small set of “A frame” type step ladders, which got me enough elevation to shoot over the fence.

Top stuff,Danny. The Falcon 2000 is a cracker, and nice to see the Onur Air ted ( a bit sick of A300’s here at GLA 😀 )

Is that fokker the one that arrived at 10ish or around about there and parked beside the Us 757 at the iNTERNATIONAL PEIR? If it was I WAS Sitting in seat 22B .

I think it may be, the shot was of her taxiing out at 1133am
GAZ It will be awesome for anything parked nose in, perhaps a little too close if anything, the fence is only about 30 feet from the wheel stop lines 😀 (fish eye??)
Si: no luck there, man. if you are back up, give any of the GLA guys a shout ,or,(shameless plug) i have a map of spots on my website 😀 😀
Thanks Tom and Peter, you should check it out Peter, it’s just behind the taxi rank beside the LC hangar.

Thanks Tom and Phil, Yes good news for us here at GLA (a rare thing these days)with GSM’s new long haul stuff.
Very weird weather Phil, manky grey skies (having just dumped their contents) but the sun out too.

Gawd, the thought of little shards of tie-dyed wool stuck to the barbed wire in our PIK shots is the most alarming thought of all. QUOTE]
Hehe good one :diablo: :diablo: :diablo:

Why are these bunch off muppets doing this for?

    James

Simple: Publicity, their “cause” is bettered when it is brought to the general publics attention.
The best thing to do to them…..arrest them, charge them, and at all costs conceal it from the press, then they just get arrested for nothing!

I was going to go after GLA yesterday, but changed my mind, i got an e-mail from someone who works at PIK was telling me there is a heavily increased Police presence at certain areas, but had no probs at the mound, and seen some shots, on another forum, from PIK taken from the mound area i would urge caution as you would at any airport, and should you happen to be walking a hungry rottweiler and see some muppet climb the fence……………… 😀
