To be hit with more horrendous traffic resulting in a 7 hour journey from LHR to Knutsford,which, with a badly nodding head had to be the end of todays travels, waking at 0630 10 miles from MAN on a nice saturday morning…..whats a boy to do??

Then home to catch the start of the footy season 😀

Thank you all, and my boss pays the fuel bill 😀 😀 It’s a bit like getting paid to visit airports. And on friday i will be off to NCL early doors then back down to London,hoping to visit as many places on the way,but really want to try get to LHR for the late afternoon goodies. 🙂

Excellent shots! I gather from these you’re getting on well with the 350D? What lens(es) are you using with that fine image capture device?

Thanks Paul, not quite together with it..i only had it for 7 hours before shooting :diablo: Need to spend time figuring it out a wee bit more, I use a 75-300mm EF mostly also a 35-80 (but use very rarely)

Never seen better than an evening take-off at Sydney(over the city,not Botany Bay)
Done it in an Aeropelican Twin Otter, nice slow climb…very nice!

Yeah, real nice…i remember seeing that old bird decades ago at LHR(no winglets then hehe) Thought i was going to get lucky when the Yak pushed back, only to get towed elsewhere 🙁 🙁

Not sure about GVA maybe a BHX or GLA equivalent 😮 😮
Would have to say i find MAN far busier than ZRH, on a recent trip(to ZRH) it gets very tedious seeing swiss 146 after swiss 146 for most of the morning/afternoon(mmm like LHR with BA,only much less 🙂 ) However, there is some cracking stuff to be seen at ZRH,some very good variety, i’d take ZRH over MAN anyday,personally (sorry MAN guys, no offence 😎 ). Are you thinking of going?? i can give you some pointers if needed. 🙂
