I am in the process of buying a new Canon 350D, probably the best at that level around (IMO of course!!) The cheapest i have found for one on the net(by a country mile also) was at: http://www.digitalrev.com/en/index.php
No idea how their prices on other models compare, but, as an example, the EOS350D is £384, in Currys….£599.Not quite in your budget, but as Planeimages says, bite the bullet, you can faff about with compacts, paying close to the price of a DSLR with nowhere near the quality/flexibility and features of the DSLR,for a wee bit more…way worth the extra investment if you want quality shots.
Good luck
I think they will have poss 2 767’s based at MAN as they are starting MAN-YYZ on Nov.3 too.
(and i thought they were from Scotland that Globespan mob :dev2: )
Brilliant Peter!!, the 154 looks the biz in the new c/s.
Good job getting the pigeon in wings retracted status also :diablo: :diablo:
Good stuff there,Matt.
I see from where you shot the pics you must have been beside the “saturday morning spotters meet seats” where you chatting to any of the guys??(am usually there myself on sat am’s but was working night before)
Very good Damian.
I believe the IL76 is a re-engined machine,to try get them approved for use in EU skies again, any noticeable difference in the new engines from the old??
Very nice selection there, agree about TF-ELO,the red paint used also seems much brighter than on G-CELA too.
Hehe :dev2: :dev2: Good point, it’s looking in a wee bit of a state,shame!
Thanks guys.
Cheers RIP!!! Bleeding typical hehe, oh well, for another time then.
Craigston Tom, very good point,i’d never noticed them before now, they only really stand out on the new c/s BMI jungleys (on the others they are same colour as the wing)i reckon it must be some sort of aerodynamic device??? failing that, coathooks for the captain on his pre flight walk around :p
Err… Is it a good idea to put put scanner hearsay on a public forum ?
Okay folks apologies, merely trying to stimulate some discussion, seem to remember someone whining recently about too much pics not enough discussion 😡 😡 Sorry for those who were discussing in this thread.
it seems only hard facts read in the times or something can be posted, no rumours allowed!!! 😡
Maybe the bid is in,in that case, and BAA are giving “heads ups” to staff?? I did hear Goldman Sachs had way outbid the ferrovial offer. Must admit i havent really been paying attention to all this, must keep up, this certainly could be THE aviation story of the decade!!
Very good,Damian. Lucky one with the Utterly Butterlies, i was gonna head for the hills in search of them today, but work got in the way (luckily!!)
Nice stuff,craig.
Never knew about the Dash 8 😡 😡 Would have ran over. Oh well.
