No-one seems to have got shots of the Dubai Air Wing chopper
Great shots.. i totally missed both too..am told the lump back in 2 weeks
Mighty fine set!!:D
One of the few places in Germany i havent been to…passed by many times but never bothered going in…my bad!!
good to see the 777 at NCL finally..great set
i too have flown the EK 777 from GLA a few times and found it by a mile the best flights i have ever taken..phenomenal airline ..and to be commended for not being scared of landing outside the M25 area…put a certain airline that has the cheek to have the word “british” in their name when they fly to ZERO international destinations from outside of london to shame!!
Pt.2 The Red Arrows:

Thanks for looking
Unfortunately went all round the perimeter trying for a better spot to no avail Widdy… i dont think the Togo govt is stored…in other shots it looks in fine nick, possibly just visiting Sabena for some work
Cheers again
:D:D Thanks for the comments lads
There is also a B787 due in on Sept 17 …Ethiopian ET-AOQ in 1750 out 0610 (aircraft only delivered yesterday)
Cheers guys:D
A shame indeed about the state of the Caravelle….on a plus..i notice on my travels loads of them at various fields around france
Thanks guys
As i understand MAJK is not long back off its lease in some sort of non standard cols…unusual indeed
So.. Laval.. a small and very pleasant airfield..i was taken on a ramp tour by a very kind ops lady..not much here, but nice all the same:

Final stop was Le Mans:

A nice backdrop to the airport…the famous Le Mans racing circuit
That’s ma lot
Cheers
Mighty fine set there indeed, one of my favourite places at that bridge.
DC10Rob… getting to the spot can be a challenge..walking from the terminal can take maybe 45 mins or so (not that i have ever tried 😮 ) there is a small woodland car park… if you look at the google maps link and you will see a track leading up from the east towards the spotting point…follow that back to the intersection with a road leading south..this is where you park.. to access it heading southbound on A5 (from terminal) just after you pass the stored aircraft on the right (DC3 etc…) take the exit on to the L2362 keeping left and take the very first left which is the road that will take you to the car park…it is then a 5 minute walk to the bridge.
Reason for all the tug activity is all the day stopping heavies get parked over that side near where the AFB used to be, and they are towed back and forth via that viewing spot.
Fine set as ever Markles!!.. i never even knew there WAS a Niki short season happening!!!
