Jeez guys apologies offered to those of you who have taken my comment as a personal attack on each of you!!! (i won’t say GET A LIFE!! oops.. just did!) i’m ashamed of myself for expressing an opinion on a public forum! my bad!!!!!
January 2012!! I never knew it was this close to going into service!.. Don’t think i’ll be flying on one if i can avoid it, does NOT look a safe aircraft to me (i know being built by boing it probably is…just don’t fancy relying on my flying tube to be made out of the same material as tonka toys!!)) :D:D
Nice set Robert, shame about the weather. Re the ATR it must be Aer Arrann policy, as i shot one at GLA passing area J with only one running recently.
thats awesome Kev…. bleeding stupid clouds!!!:mad:
They are finally going to drop the frankly misleading “British” bit from the name and go with the correct “London Airways” also updating their catchphrase to “The world’s least favourite airline” :eek::dev2::dev2::D
Well caught Kev… never saw you on saturday/sunday.
thanks chaps…yeah, a bit raging at missing it go out!! i believe the other is awaiting a pallet.
:D:D:D:eek::eek::D Brilliant Andy!!
Like that!! that’s quite cool!!!:D:D
A good question.. Certainly some are registered as a tax dodge (eg: VP-B, VP-C, M-) Possibly with ones retaining US reg’s is to do with the leasing company that own the aircraft?(Wilmington Trust in the case of the SP) Off the topic sorry, that SP that you linked to has a colourful history and is (i believe) the only 747SP to fly supersonic!! whilst in a dive!
Apologies Sandy!!:eek::eek::D
Aye cheers have seen a shot of it now… the 2nd arrived shortly after midnight so currently 2 of them parked at GLA.
Cheers..hope it’s sunny in morning (and am able to jostle for a shooting spot!!!)
Welcome aboard!!:D
and with that link you will fit in well with us loons in here:p
