Thanks for the comments guys.. appreciated 😀
Thanks Steve and Rab 😀
Would’nt fancy a shot in one of them Robinsons myself.
What can’t really be seen too well in the AS355 shot is, it was doing pilot training the whole time i was there and i think the trainer just pushed the stick forward real sharply from a standing hover, the student’s face in one or two of the other shots i got when zoomed right in is a picture…poor guy!!:dev2:
Thanks gents.
Indeed a very sombre mood around the place.. real tragedy..
Scott, yes it is a mock up helicopter used for the fire service.
Thanks Rab.. Good to see you lurking big man.
UPS: Most of the MUC shots were taken from a very large hill overlooking runway 26L, which would be excellent in good weather/light, the A340 (with fence) taken from a dirt track that runs along the perimeter just beside the large hill, would be fine with ladders. There is a spot also near the end of 26R but looks a bit hard to get parking near it, The GAT also has excellent views i dare say you could park around the area un bothered for a short while.
All of these spots require a car (or bus or taxi to them) the best spot being the hill at 26L plenty of parking space too.
A great site about spotting at MUC is:

Brussels has changed a bit but the spot where i took these 3 is on finals to R/W 25L you could park by the road.
Also there is a graveyard in Steenokerzel that is great for 25R landings.
The GAT at BRU is not bad also for getting shots of the parked bizzers and is within walking distance of the terminal.
A good BRU site for you is:

Brussels can get a bit boring after the morning rush with endless Brussels A/L stuff. I ‘d guess that a day up that hill at MUC in the sun would be a worthwhile excursion (only ever done quick drive by’s myself)
Hope some of that is of use to you.
Cheers
Brilliant set! thanks for sharing, them AI Express 737’s look grand!
Great stuff,Tom . Love the Arik A340(have to say i have never even heard of the airline:o)I passed LHR on my way home from Holland and Germany on tuesday at 2:30 was going to pop in for a while, but, decided not to wait half an hour till it was 27L deps, ended up spending half an hour at White Waltham.
Fine capture indeed, not long now till it is replaced by the 777 eh?
Usual high standard again UUEE, well done too on braving the snow for your art!

Actually i thought the sharpening was a bit heavy myself but no mention of it in the rejection.. Fair point about the cropping on the UA, will try a re-crop doing that and see how it goes.. cheers again, appreciate the feedback.
Brill stuff Martin!
At least next year it’s back to the France at Murrayfield bonanza.
Really liking the KLM Jungle jet, still to see one myself!
