Very nice Lance.. Luton a favourite stop off of mine when “dahn saath”
Where you unable to get over to the crash gate on the other side?
Smashing… “Just one from LHR!” the man said and it was the only one shot needed for the perfect post well done, great catch.
Fantastic!! some real top schemes in there… i never knew Egyptair had a new scheme.. looks great!
Excellent set!!
Must try swing past Brize if those kinds of shot are do-able.
Thanks guys 😀
I thought they were quite average too :diablo: Camera really needs a serious sensor clean some real nasty dust spots experienced. Nice to get a good day at a good airport (been a long slow winter).
Paul: great minds and all… i was thinking the exact same myself (was going to include a smart comment in the post but decided to stay safe!!)
More will follow when i can find some editing time.
Cheers for that EGTC, I have shot Brunei before at LHR i must have been a bit lucky.. my fave move of the day was seeing a THY B773 rattle in on finals, sweet!!.
Some more from LHR……..

More to follow at a later date, still got to photoshop tons!!
Thanks for viewing.
Shot the below at LHR last sat.. first 321 i’ve seen in the full colours:
Sorry if images are not allowed on this forum now… mods feel free to remove.
Coming from someone driving a Vivaro, that means a lot to me. :diablo:
Touche sir,Touche..
Great stuff Pieter!
Glad you werent hurt in the crash and a shame you have gone from a MAN‘s car to a girly one :diablo::diablo::diablo:
Super stuff Super Mario!!
Like everyone i really like the 2 A380’s shot.
Were they mostly taken from the spectators gallery (outdoors) on the International terminal?
Nice one… look forward to seeing QF 380’s on my next jaunt to Heathrow.
Hey SuperMario… notice your location..Coogee.. nice one, I lived in Randwick a few years ago and the Coogee Bay Hotel was my watering hole.:D
Great news that there was no fatalities, only thing lost is the aircraft.
Probably a silly question.. is there any reason why engine intakes cant have a
solid metal mesh or similar covering them?(something to let the air in and keep the large objects out!) given the amount of bird ingestions there are on a daily basis surely some thought into reducing/preventing these incidents is needed?
Simple really.. GLA scheduled to anywhere outside the UK…Scotlands main airport being ran into the ground a national disgrace. The only glimmer of good news here is the Emirates going double daily in 2009(if the airport is still open by then!!)
Surely the runway at LCY won’t allow for the 318 to get airbourne with such a large fuel load.
The Clever boffins at London Airways have thought(??)that out and are giving the busy businessmen in the ludicrously expensive seats a :)free:) stop off on the tarmac at Dublin en route to fuel up!! I’m sure the busy businessmen will really enjoy sitting around in Ireland and not be at all worried about the important meetings, time being money etc… and give LA their repeat business!…..NOT!
