OK… what about just a general aviation cargo schedule?
I don’t think there is a schedule, cargo flights do not work to set timetables just as and when in most cases. Best bet is to check out flytecomm arrivals for PIK for a heads up.
Nice pics.
The Airbuses have been back allowed in the EU for a while now, we get one on a weds and sun at GLA.
Very nice,Martin.
I was lucky enough to be at PIK while it was there too, a 5 minute visit and saw the SP a Cargolux and a Tucano (Which buzzed me on the M74 an hour later!!) Did you not manage any shots of the An22? i think i missed it by about 20 mins as i had to leave as i was working, or the Aravas??(Which left this morning incidentally)
Cheers A225HVY
And for anyone who is interested the El Salvadorian Aravas are currently stuck due to weather at Toulon in France expected PIK on thursday… no doubt routing up over England too.
Nice one cheers for that.
May be a pretty good day on tuesday for the spotters at PIK as there will be 3 El Salvador Air Force Arava’s coming from France around 1630 also.

If you visit:

The Heathrow Movements site… in the dropdown go to “Software for the spotter” quite a few links in there.
One that i had for a while when i number crunched was NMU (No More Underlining) i never got round to using it,but, i believe it is one of the better software.. they are at:

Very stunning shots there.. well done.
There is a museum at Carlisle Airport with several aircraft (incl.Vulcan) sitting outside, no fencing around so nothing really to stop you shooting (Might be an idea to chap the door of the museum to see if anyone is home just in case) but, i have done night visits there quite regularly with no problems.
😀
‘Nuff said
Very nice set there, like the Finnair Retro jet very nice indeed.
First time seeing a Tiffy :eek::eek: (Ahh, to be so young again!!:D)
The Tiffy is operated by Jet Aviation Business Jets, kind of like NetJets, so could have been anyone chartering her.
Arn’t we running the risk of having lots of separate not-so-busy forums instead on one main reasonably busy one if we go down this road? I was only joking.
Paul
True,Paul (I know you were joking… by the smiley, i meant there are a few who do find OT shots unfavourable) perhaps even a slight bending of the criteria of the 2 photography forums to allow other types of stuff to be shown (eg: spam/general/biz/airliner/airport taken shots in here, Mil/airbase taken shots in Airshow Photos section). It frustrates me a wee bit if i shoot a bunch of spam cans at a GA airfield, there are folk here who like to see these, but, there is nowhere to post them (although i “sneak” a few in, hidden amongst a bunch of airliners:diablo:)
Maybe we need a Bizjet section, because thats all I seem to photograph at the moment.
Very well said… one for the mods, there is sections specifically only for Commercial and Airshow photos, no section for military, spam cans, biz etc.., which, some posters seem to take offence to seeing posted in Commercial:confused:
Can the mods have a word with the high heid yins to correct this oversight please??? Clearly we don’t all just shoot 747’s and the BBMF!!:D
Oh and good shots BTW :D:D
I doubt this somehow.. Polar and Atlas are planning to send their 748i’s to Prestwick when they are delivered.
Does Polar/Atlas still visit PIK. Sam? Notice there hasnt been one in a week or 2 they are pulling out of PIK completely, any freight was originally to be roaded to AMS, but, likely to STN now.
by the time they get the 74-8’s they will have almost no European presence.
(Not to mention, PIK will probably be a lush new Wimpey housing scheme by then!!!:()
I feel alot of the problems of B.A. are Heathrow itself, B.A. would not need to cancel so many flights and have as many delays if there was extra runway capacity,
Sorry have to disagree with that, although i agree Heathrow is the main problem, that is by BA’s own doing. THEY chose to be a one airport airline!, if ,for example, American or United chose to only fly long distance from, say, New York for the entire US they would have the same issues. BA’s desire to be London Airways is what is causing them so much bother, not Heathrow’s fault that an airline wants to use it as it’s sole gateway airport.
There is lots of extra runway capacity available to BA, at Birmingham, Glasgow,Manchester,Cardiff,Newcastle,Belfast,Aberdeeen,Leeds etc… BA just choose not to use it.(Cue bleats about BA being a business and not here to pander the needs of the “countryfolk”… Shock Stat: Not only Londoners fly BA!!!)
Thanks for the comments:
The Jetstream was operated by BASE Regional which was a Dutch BA Franchise. They operated JS31’s and Brasilia’s too.
Welcome to the forums UAV 689;):D
Remember once hearing a Concorde flight northbound over Daventry at 410. Reckoned he could see the Clyde.
Not a chance!!! How could he see through the ever present rain clouds over the Clyde Valley :dev2::dev2:
