Thanks again.lads.
Well spotted Spike, Martian Air Force participant hehe:dev2:(actually i’ve no idea what that is)
James: the first shot in the 3rd batch is indeed a JP (XM470)
The aircraft behind the c-130 is a Tucano it buzzed the tail of the Herc a few times.
Thanks for the Strikemaster info guys.
Scott: in that case i deffo never shot it, i did’nt go to the show on saturday (thankfully….weather!!)so was never on the base.
OldShape: did’nt roll her but did do a loop( 3rd shot was taken at the height of the loop) very impressive flying throwing such a huge aircraft around like a small trainer.
Hi Scott.
A StrikeMaster eh? cheers for that.
Never managed to shoot much of the lighter stuff, any lights landing, came off the runway too far away too shoot.
Thanks.
The final bunch……….

Hope someone enjoys them.
Some more………………

Anyone out there able to identify this?? (no idea about obscure mil types) thanks.

What everyone was waiting for…. and a storming bit of flying by the crew too………

Tools down to admire an old friend!!!
Just got back from “arrivals day” managed to fill 2 CF cards today so, some good stuff to be seen.. Vulcan done a cracking display on arrival, and Dutch AF (i think) F-16 (i think) done an awesome display, one of the typhoons also pulled off a ripper of a display, Even the Czech AF wee trainer type things and An26 done some great stuff too, as well as some insane helicopter stunts…. so, not bothering with the show… seen most of it today!!:D Only bummer for me was hoping the Phantom would do a bit, but, just a flypast and land. Some good stuff there at the airshow.. it’s been getting a bit of a pasting up here with the apparent lack of contributors, but looks a decent enough show all the same… weather was improving through the day, and was really nice by late afternoon, hope it holds for you and have a great time.

Mmm like the tail, dislike the union rag bit:confused: (Thought it was Virgin OZ!!) Maybe when it gets it’s own engine the cowling will look better:D (looks like theyve borrowed part of a cowling from someone else)
Not too keen on the titles either “Vaustralia” what’s that mean??::diablo:
Looking for a positive here… erm… err.. the reg!!! that looks just fine.:dev2:
2 out of 10.
It maybe intresting to see what results they come up with but do we really need this machine and could the money to built it be spent else where like on cancer?
James
Fair shout there,James. i was thinking the same while watching news about this, until a bright spark scientist pointed out on the telly that pushing the boundaries of science ultimately leads to new discoveries in all aspects from technology to medicine
Also like to add how funny this thread has been to read….i’m going through a bereavement at this time, and get a good cheer up reading the various sarcastic replies… especially you Lance.. Nice one!:D
