Never mind Open Skies, I believe these cutbacks are part of their Project S E A L
(South East And London airways )
Alas likes all seals, there’s too much blubber & they are sinking fast
LOL π
I would have thought stop losing bags and cancelling flights when it suites would be a better idea. π
My nearest airport is Gatwick but I can honestly say Iβve not flown with British Airways for, well I canβt remember how many years ago it was (I donβt want to remember that far back π lol) they are a vial airline imo.
Give me Eayjet, Virgin or bmi any day! Iβm sure the people of Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham etc will agree.
Could’nt agree more FFS, last time i flew London Airways was in 1988, LHR-Paris,truly the worst airline in the world, the cabin crew were an absolute disgrace a definite different attitude to those of us on board with Scottish accents (not imagined!) The way they treat Scotland has been a joke for years (not one international route from Scotland) truly a joke airline, they pull vital business flights from Scotland and on the other hand this mob plan to fly an A318 from LCY to JFK for businessmen who will enjoy departing LCY to land at GLA an hour later, sit about on the plane wasting time and money while it gets refuelled!!:confused: the plot truly lost.
Good news for BMI,there will still be the same demand for flights i can see them cashing in on LA’s folly!
Nice stuff Josh, looks like a great place… how do you get there? is that near the 08 end? looking on google Earth just now to see if i can see anywhere to no avail!(It’s ok, i won’t tell anyone:dev2:)
Thanks Alex.
I actually found a wee tutorial which explained how to do it. however,a bit different from your instructions, going to give your way a wee try later on some shots i took at a colourful parade in Glasgow recently.
Appreciate you taking the time to explain that, thanks again.
More evidence of the ever emerging “London Airways”?
Fantastic stuff there Alex
Perhaps i could pick your brain on how you manage the colour on specifically the 2 shots of the learjet, How did you ,for example, get the red bits red and the rest of the shot B/W? been fiddling about with Photoshop, with no luck to do this.(probably second nature to most you guys, but, i have very limited knowledge of the workings of Photoshop)
Cheers for any advice.
I know of some other spots for shooting planes on approach to Stansted in the morning near Molehill Green for 23 and Takeley for 05. I can send you more info on these if you are interested.
Cheers Tony, that would be great.
Great that the mound is accessable again, must visit it sometime soon.
Cheers again.
Mighty fine pics Tony.
Where were you shooting from? it looks like the old place near the fire training place(last time i was there it was fenced off) been looking for somewhere around STN to shoot to no avail.
Cheers
Excellent stuff there.
I was at Phuket last year (just after the One Two Go DC9 crash) the spots on the beach are still there after the tsunami.
