Hi Kev.
As you see weather did’nt help at all. It is parked up on stand 82, so shootable from the terminal (as long as there is nothing in front of it).
Only scheduled airline,yes.
Spot on Kevin.
ACA Emb170 looks magic in the new c/s
Glad you got some shooting in….keep ’em coming!
Thanks guys.
Damian, sorry man, wasnt paying attention myself …half asleep after working through the night.:diablo:
No winglets on the 757 Allen. Also meant to say the 737-7 should be based at Aberdeen.
Excellent Jamie.
I thought you were using a DSLR before now, what were you using ??
Thanks chaps, i thought it was some sort of air defence device, never noticed it on the 146 before. Jamie, the 195 was in today, and has been in almost daily lately on the BEE 816(still not caught FBEB yet!!)
Back to BlairForce 1, i noticed today, as mr Blair whizzed past me in the jag (an old x plate one btw 😮 3 times today his entourage held me up grrr :dev2: )that the 146 started engines without clearance to do so by ATC!
Alright for some, AND got to skip the take off queue by lining up at a shorter link. Cheek:D
Possibly because it is the engine of choice for 4U, the older Airbus is a former US Air one, bought from them, utilising the preferred engine of US Air, and they maybe state their own preference to Airbus for their purpose built aircraft.
Thanks Pieter.
I thought they were from different places, the EZY was in a folder of DUS stuff incorrectly, a wee bit of further investigation reveals it is as you say CGN. i remember taking it from an excellent (glass fronted 😮 ) terrace, just could not remember exactly where said terrace was!!
Thanks guys
Hi Iain, where you been hiding??:p Yes, it’s at FRA

AFAIK most of them are still able to fly (after a fair bit of work, though) but none of course have airworthiness certificates.
Nice find there,Ren
Is it just my ears or does it seem a whole lot quieter in first class than in cattle class??
Gary if you wait a day or 2 you should tie them up at the below excellent site:

You can also get various acars and sbs postings on the various e-mail groups, i think there is a Gatwick spotters group.(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gatwickairport) among others.
