Brilliant shots Paul.
The 125 is my own fave of them, very good close crisp shots.
Magic stuff Pieter.
NWA A330 is a beaut!!
Good stuff Peter, always like catching the PIA at this time of year, nice lighting for it.
Thanks for the comments again folks:
Monkey Hugger, not an IS just my old trusty 75-300 with the 2X converter (which is murder to get a sharp shot at full zoom with) just got a bit lucky on that one.
Manc: never even made it to the field :p :p those were taken from the pavement where i was parked, was going to walk to the fields, but, had been up all night working so could’nt be bothered moving.
09 is a good enough place, but, it is the lack of any shops as stated above, i notice the new multi storey CP at T5 will be a cracking place for shots of 09R and 09L landings(until, of course the plod throw you out 😮 )
Thanks chaps.
Paul, i was wondering what the writing was about, that was shot with the 2x converter, really happy it came out sharp(just a shame no-one was peering out a window at the time lol).
Pieter, it was perfect weather for shooting at LHR yesterday, but, i’m not a fan of 09  Thought they may be part of Iberia, always nice to get a shot of something new.
And the final bunch from saturday morn:

Hope the News of the world don’t see the below shot….. i see ” Near miss at Heathrow terror” banner headlines 😀 (BTW the aircraft about to plough into the nose of the KM is an EIN A320)

Then a dash up the M1 to also sunny Luton….but thats for another thread.
More from saturday morning:

Final batch to follow…………
Great stuff,Peter.
The Premier stands out well, good to have a wee chat with you at gate 4 today 🙂
Great stuff again Paul, I’m with James on the Southwest..smashing!!
Smashing Jason.
Excellent shot from the rear with vapour trailing from the tail 🙂
Smashing stuff,Robert.
Good catch on the Citation.
Thanks guys.:)
Sam: not really sure i was only there for 5 minutes and it was on the ground when i arrived, just out of shot, though,is a fire engine
As long as the holes actually let the balls drop out of the plane.
Oh sheesh NO!!, imagine getting scudded with a frozen golf ball dropped from 40,000 feet. ouch!!
Imagine putting a bowling alley onboard and using it during take off :diablo:
I wonder if they will install a swimming pool, cinema or any other similar facilities onboard?
Or better… a football pitch..11 a side 😀
Upstairs, bedrooms, lounges, kitchen, meeting room etc… downstairs………18 hole golf course!!:diablo:
Perhaps some of these ‘muppets’ feel dying in the wheel well of a passenger jet, be it from cold, heat, crushing or oxygen depravation is a much happier fate than the one set out for them in their own country. I think that’s quite sad, actually.
Paul
Maybe they do indeed Paul, but that would be scant consolation to the families of 400 passengers killed because their aircraft crashed on landing without nosegear.
