This is in spray at the moment, could be very nice when it emerges ????

If my information is correct, it should emerge as G-TYPH – probably in BAe ‘house’ livery.

I can confirm that Lincoln 7 is not “in the cooler”.

I do hope he’s OK, though.

The way I see it, McD screwed up. They bet the farm on the MD-11, failed miserably in the delivery of said product and bankrupted themselves.

Oh, without doubt. It’s hardly Boeing’s fault that their only domestic competitor pressed the “self-destruct” button.

Believe it or not, I’ve actually seen people (not Boeing) refer to the “Boeing DC-3”! 😮

It’s an MD-95 with a Boeing badge on it. :p

Surely you’re not one of these people who think that the F-15 is a Boeing design, too?

I wasn’t aware that Boeing were only planning to market their future aircraft within the USA.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

    Well, I like it anyway.

Reminds me of the old JAL DC8s and DC10s. 🙂

Can’t Manchester Airport look at housing one of these old beasts.

There is a difference between an international airport and an aviation museum.

“….the dawning of the newest airplane for the 21st century.”

The Boeing 747 first took to the air on February 9, 1969.

Don’t you just love corporate spin and PR, chaps?

Thanks for the info pal, at least even I, (A mere troll according to some) …

    Let it drop, Lincoln 7.

With immediate effect, if you please.

Remember Newton’s Third Law of Motion……

    Thanks
