PeeDee – I am sure I remember 1/11, 3/11, 17/11 and 18/11 and so on, long ago. I think it has always been with us hasn’t it?

Not to mention guineas. (That’s 21 shillings, or £1.05 for you young whippersnappers.)

BTW, if any of you are planning to go onto that particular thread and tell the punters that they mustn’t post any more links to ‘.cn’ domains, would you mind hanging on while I go and get some popcorn? 😎

My understanding is that ATC can be in the local lingo if an airfield is only served by domestic flights.

But, there again, I could be wrong.

We’d all like Tango III to carry on, Webmaster and moderator team included.

But the restrictions on posting copyright material must remain in force until such time as UK copyright law changes.

Which is unlikely to happen any time soon.

If a member feels that they are unable to post new threads in these circumstances, then the rest of us have to respect that decision – however much we might wish it were otherwise.

As I said earlier, it’s a situation that none of us are happy with but there’s nothing we can do to change it.

I’ve just accessed the site with 3 different browsers (IE 9 64-bit, Opera 10 and Firefox 3.6.13) on 2 different machines (desktop PC running Windows 7 Home Premium and netbook running Windows XP Pro), and I didn’t seen any warnings.

We haven’t had any similar reports from other members.

Without dragging this out, the point is that I was the one singled out by GA as being uncivil. 🙂

You most certainly were not singled out.

I made a general request to everyone to keep the discussion civil.

If you chose to read that as being directed at yourself as an individual, then that’s your own problem.

If you want to discuss it further, I suggest you do so by PM.
