Just to put the icing on the cake, it seems that Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and Everton will now suffer financially as a result of Liverpool’s special treatment because the English share of the TV revenue will be divided 5 ways instead of 4.

I think Liverpool should reimburse the other 4 clubs, quite frankly.

Who will miss out to make way for them? Someone will have to, because you can’t have an odd number of teams in a knockout round.

I don’t actually mind people having a go at me – that’s their prerogative and I’m just as comfortable with taking it as I am dishing it out – but I do wish they’d get their facts straight first.

As Matthew has said, BMused55 has terminated his membership of these Forums – he has not been banned, either temporarily or permanently, and is perfectly free to return at any time.

Only he can tell you why he has done this, because we certainly don’t know the reason.

Greekdude, I am pleased to see that our respect is mutual but there is a lot more to this than meets the eye.

You would be rightly disappointed in me if I brought matters that were raised with me privately into the public domain so you’ll just have to take my word for it, I’m afraid.

Now, I am not comfortable with public comments – pro or anti – made about someone who is not here to “fight their corner”; nor am I prepared to justify or be held to account for the actions of others.

In that light, I have to insist that we all respect BMused55’s decision and now move on.

Where, indeed, are the stickies?

Well, it’s like this………. it just wasn’t working, was it?

You can’t please everyone, and more people have complained about the stickies than were complaining about the A vs B rubbish in the first place.

Matthew and I discussed this and concluded that the cure was causing more problems than the disease – so we acted and the stickies have gone.

Never let it be said that we’re not responsive to the wishes of those who elected us in the first place. 🙂

Now, if there’s anyone out there who thinks that this is licence to play silly beggars then my advice to them is………….. “THINK AGAIN”.

We will deem any attempt to derail threads, undermine the running of the Forum or spoil the enjoyment of others as trolling, and we will act accordingly.

Postings will be deleted, and persistent malefactors will be banned – permanently, should the need arise.

OK – that’s enough of the heavy stuff. 🙂

Carry on enjoying the Forum, but please make sure that in doing so, you’re not depriving another member of their enjoyment.
