Are there any reasons for the C-130’s or are they just visiting?

Saudi AF C130s have been been regular visitors to MAN since I was a kid.

Sometimes they route directly to and from Saudi, other times they stop off to/from the USA.

Probably something to do with spares for earth-moving equipment…… 😉

    So many questions….. 😀

As Ren says, G-BNWH is the “based” BA 767 which operates MAN-JFK – their only non-London intercontinental service

The Edelweiss A330 was operating for MyTravel, while the Air Mediterranee A320 was operating EAF304F.

The “MyAir” A320 was operating an LTE service – note the LTE decal on the upper forward fuselage.

The Virgin B747 just looked nice in the sun……note also the 2 Royal Saudi Air Force C130s in the top right of the picture. They arrived within 5 minutes of one another yesterday afternoon.

    Thanks for the comments. 🙂

    Ahhh…. be careful, Sandy.

Commenting on postings is one thing, whereas commenting on the poster is a different proposition altogther and will only raise hackles all round.

The inconvenient question I was referring to – as you known perfectly well – was whether Boeing’s monopoly of US airliner production is good for the industry.

A simple “yes” or “no” will do quite admirably, thank you.

Why are you changing the subject, Sandy?

Can’t you answer my question – a man of your knowledge and erudition?

What is the world coming to? :D:D:D

And when one company gets so much help it faces less risk thus can expand much much quicker and put others out of business.
Is that good for the industry?

How many companies manufacture airliners in the USA nowadays? Just the one, I understand.

I wonder how this came to be the case, and whether this is good for the industry?

    Thanks very much, everyone. 😀

My own favourites are the same two that Sandy mentioned – the light was, for once, kind to me.

It’s not the end of the EU, but it is democracy in action.

Carzyman just wants to see a rival economic and political bloc out of the way and is indulging in wishful thinking. 🙂

Considering that the whole Constitution was meant to be an evil French plot to dominate Europe, I can’t wait to see what the anti-EU Francophobes make of this one. :D:D:D

Your Canadair CL215 was C-GISM (c/n 2058) on delivery to Italy.

It was due to night-stop and is planned to be on it’s way at 10:00 today (Monday). 😀
