    TC-MNY is c/n 299 and was, therefore, G-TTMC of Air Scandic :D:D:D:D

    Well done, Tom! 🙂

Actually, LFC, I think you’ll find that one of the pictures is of B737-800 G-CDZN (c/n 32903), currently on lease to Thomsonfly.

Oh look! Carzyman picking a fight with the Moderators – must be a day with a “y” in it.

Look, pal, if you don’t like the way these boards are moderated, then you should stay away.

It’s that simple, it really is. No-one puts a gun to your head and makes you post here.

And that goes for all of the second-guessers and wannabe-Moderators.

Before all this woolly-minded do-gooding started, when there was corporal punishment in schools, kids did not cheek teachers, kids did not attack teachers, kids did not run riot and out of control.

None of this went on when there was corporal punishment in schools?

    Don’t make me laugh!

I can remember those days, and you can’t…. and you’re wrong Comet. It went on then, too.

I know this from firsthand experience of going to a school where corporal punishment was frequently applied for even the most trivial offences, whereas you only have your prejudices and misguided beliefs to fall back on.

What was different about those days was the lack of mass-media to glamourise such activity and make it fashionable and attractive to the dull-witted or, on the other hand, to whip up fear, loathing and hysteria among the timorous and vengeful.

That last posting should appear as a sticky at the top of each Forum, IMHO.
