I didn’t realise that BA actually had any ex-colonies.
Iberia base a A319/A320 in Central America to feed into long-haul routes from Miami, BigJet.
I think it looks more like a development of the An72/74 models myself, although it does seem to have the distincive “hump-back” of the Do328.
Having said that, the IL-76 has a “hump-back”, so it’s a known characteristic of Soviet designs as well.
Hard to tell from these pictures, but it looks a fair bit bigger than the Do328.
And I think you mean the Tu204, Sandy. 😉

Pathetic.
Truly pathetic.

Oh dear Lord – another one to add to the Ignore list. 🙁

Huh…. I barrel-rolled a Learjet under the Golden Gate Bridge.
I almost made it all the way, too. 😉

Yes, it’s as red as red can be. 😉

…….every prospective EU countrys national carrier has ordered Airbus
A palpable untruth, I’m afraid.
How many Airbus types do LOT (Poland) operate? Or Air Baltic (Estonia)?
Your point about THY would less risible if they weren’t already an A310 operator long before they placed their first order for 737-800s. THY has also operated the A340 for a number of years now.
Finally, how many non-EU national carriers operate Airbus types and how many EU national carriers operate Boeing types?
It just won’t wash, I’m afraid.

Many people on this Aviation forum hold different opinions from me, and I accept and welcome that.
I would never seek to tell anyone not to post – I have no right at all to do that, have never said that, and I would like an apology from you for suggesting that I have done otherwise.
But I think I’m quite within my rights to ask you to save your anti-EU political views for an appropriate forum, rather than continually shoe-horning them into discussions on this forum.
Maybe I should just ignore you in the future, eh?
