I think it looks more like a development of the An72/74 models myself, although it does seem to have the distincive “hump-back” of the Do328.

Having said that, the IL-76 has a “hump-back”, so it’s a known characteristic of Soviet designs as well.

Hard to tell from these pictures, but it looks a fair bit bigger than the Do328.

Your point about THY would less risible if they weren’t already an A310 operator long before they placed their first order for 737-800s. THY has also operated the A340 for a number of years now.

Finally, how many non-EU national carriers operate Airbus types and how many EU national carriers operate Boeing types?
