Ryanair operate to T2, so you’d use the moving walkway to get to the Station (for the bus to the Viewing Park) or stay on it to the end and then use the lifts (on the left as you enter T1 from the moving walkway) to reach the viewing area on the 13th level of the T1 car-park.

You are a crank because you can’t seem to respond objectively to a view contrary to you own without adding a dose of ridicule.

Are there no mirrors in your house, Sauron? 😮

I rather suspect that the “Airliners.net” footer may be – ahem – grafted on. 😉

Not everyone is impressed by the nonsensical rants, silly comments and the stories told here by a few of the better known cranks.

Absolutely 100% correct in every detail there, Sauron.

    Oh yes, indeedy…… :dev2:

    I see.

So, we’re not qualified to discuss what we see in the US media, but you’re qualified to comment on what you believe the UK media say, without having actually seen it.

    Now I believe you’re a journalist…… :diablo:

It depends on how you define “development”.

Today’s aviation industry moves vast numbers of people and massive tonnages of freight further, more quickly and far more cheaply than ever before.

It does this safely and routinely, to such an extent that air travel isn’t really regarded as “special” any more and people of all ages and most income groups travel between continents as readily as they travel between cities within their own lands.

I would put it to you that this is far more marvellous, much more worthwhile, and a greater achievement than any silvery dart carrying a small number of the cramped and well-heeled through the upper atmosphere, and towards the next traffic jam, at breakneck speed.

This is the true miracle of flight.
