I can confirm Classic flight’s JP was up and about yesterday, the airport is technically closed but some flying is permitted subject to restrictions.
What a mess!
I just want to add my voice here as a long time member (close to 15 years) I still read this forum daily, though I seldom post these days.
I’m very dissapointed with the new format which is clearly optimised for mobile phone/tablet use.
Admin/Devs: Please check your stats, I’m sure it will be possible to deduce from your log files what kind of web browser/device most users are acccessing the site with. I’ll put money on the majority using desktop (or laptop) computers running a ‘traditional’ web browser and as such the current forum set up, which is clearly optimised for mobile browsing, is completely innapropriate!
G-BJST Wacky Wabbit and (Silver. G-TEXN?) friend, operating from the new Rolls Royce hangar in EMA.
I’ve just seen the RR Spit get airborne for the second time today too.

‘War Thunder’ might be worth a look. It has a very ‘arcade’ feel though it can be flown from the (beautifully rendered) cockpit as well. It does have harder/more ‘realistic’ settings, though even maxed out the flight model feels a bit childish.
I enjoyed looning around in a Gladiator though!

Excellent, really do wish I had the space!
That’s a nice looking sim. I wish I had the space to build a rig like that.
My display computer will run 4 displays at 1024×768
Have you considered networking more than one computer to run the displays? I’m out of touch with FSX but there used to be a program (WideFS?) that would do that. More computers would be more expense I know but you’d get better performance and higher resolution.

Bet there were a few tears on the tarmac…………………..:D
Look, it was a cold and windy day, perfectly normal for eyes to water under the circumstances!
Seriously though it was great to see so many people turn out to see her off. I’ve only worked with them for nine of the twenty years that they were operated by Atlantic. It’s hard to get excited about 737s and ATPs!
So Neil’s still able to entertain an audience almost 40 years after his sad demise. An amazing feat for a pilot surely.
Indeed. Although I had read about the Zlin accident before I have only recently read ‘Airborne’ Superb!
I’m not a mod but I’ve got to wonder if we really need a seperate thread each time there is an update on this project? I’m all for seeing improvements with Cliffs Of Dover though, keep up the good work!
Yes, I too have a copy but have been waiting for bug fixes, disappointed to hear that official support has finished, but I’ve seen other games ‘improved’ massively with unofficial mods.
I would love to play a BoB based game with the same level of realism and reliability as the WW1 sim ‘Rise Of Flight’
Thirded!
I remember seeing a P40 at Luton as a kid and have since doubted my memory of it being silver, your post confirms it!
Nice rig, someone seems to have broken bits of your bass though Al!
