The B-1B is going to be hard to beat, anyone got pics of it with the external hardpoints loaded?
I found this small pic of the B-1R proposal with external weapons, a larger image can be seen here (page 4) http://www.boeing.com/ids/allsystemsgo/issues/vol2/num2/vol2_issue2.pdf

Sorry guys you got me started.
P.S. I’ll take your Victor and raise you a Lancer. ๐
I had a feeling this thread would be popular :diablo:

The V-Bombers: Vulcan was truly revolutionary and ahead of even today’s time in many respects. Had it been in U.S. service, it would easily still be flying today. Valiant? Very basic. The Victor, oh what a graceful yet ugly airplane at the same time.
It is a shame that the V-Bomber capabilities have been lost, in recent operations in Afghanistan and Iraq their range and payload would probably have made them more useful than our Tornado’s.
A Vulcan with a bomb bay full of enhanced Paveway’s and Storm Shadow’s on the wing hardpoints sounds good to me ๐
Interesting pics, thanks for sharing ๐
