maybe not crazy as in sane crazy but like Hitler and a few other infamous charasmatic leaders.. him suffering from STDs has led towards some odd phrases coming out of his mouth.

….and you would know all about what suffering from STD’s does to the human brain, wouldn’t you?

The reason, as Gary stated above, why the Iranians refused the nuclear deal, was that the West (read Britain and US) would have retained the use of fuel supply as a stick. No sane (:D ) country would allow something so strategically vital to be controlled by countries that routinely refer to them as “evil”

I can’t make a sound judgement on that because I’m not in their situation. I’d hope I’d try to speak out against him, but who knows….doing that might get me killed……

I’m simply saying I hope there are more students like them that get the courage to speak out against their leader. He’s not doing what’s in the best interests of Iran and the Iranian people.

I know there are millions more in that country who can see through this guy.

So why create a topic called Iran – Crazy? It implies that the entire country is full of slobbering howling loonies. Did Ahmadinejad kiss your girlfriend or something?;)

It does sound odd though that the Kfir was modified to receive the larger diameter but shorter J-79… was it then remodiefied to take the Atar again? (albeit the more powerful 9K50). There is also speculation that all the Kfirs were French built anyway….

There is a lot of speculation as to where the airframes for the Cheetah came from. If you remember, the first Cheetah to be unveiled was a 2 seater, followed by the single seater Cheetah E. The E was powered by the Atar 09C and had a ranging radar only. Atlas stated that all airframes were zero houred which entailed a rebuild of 50% of the airframe. Now…..

The Cheetah C was unveiled in the early 1990’s and was a far more radical upgrade/redesign. Atar 9K50, longer fuselage, beefed up undercarriage, aerodynamic improvements, multi-mission avionics and multimode radar, frameless windscreen .. etc..etc.

The problem is, most of South Africa’s Mirage airframes were utilized in the E upgrade and/or placed in museums. Now, there were about 38 Cheetah C’s produced and 16 twin seater B/D’s, bringing the total up to 54. There are Mirage 111 CZ/EZ and Cheetah E airframes that you can take photo’s of in various museums…. so where did the additional airframes come from?

Atlas held a manufacturing licence for the Mirage 111 / F1 family, but never announced the production of anything but spares. Suspicion lies with Israel or France..no-one is telling!! Good link below.

Just heard on the news that Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is going to hold a meeting or summit of some sort for scholars from around the world to gather and discuss whether or not the Holocaust actually happened.

I mean give me a break!

I know the guy is completely nuts, and he has said before he doesn’t think it existed, but a meeting to discuss it?

What type of drugs is this guy doing everyday that makes him such a complete waste of life?

Why is he doing this? Does he think people will actually listen to what he has to say?

    Any thoughts?

I guess that maybe the crazy one here is the one covering his eyes, ears and mouth that thinks Ahmadinejad is the crazy one:diablo: PhantomII…. any thoughts?!!:dev2:

So if you are a Slovakian citizen, and happen to be discussing this on the Web on a server based in , say, the USA, and you are the only Slovakian member of that site. You then state that due to serious research done recently, you believe the figure should actually be 5 million, you could be jailed if reported? 😡

You are absolutely wrong here, J Boyle. He is talking about lawful criminalization of Holocaust denial. Slovakia has similar law since November 2001. That means, if a Slovak citizen openly stated here that he had doubts about Holocaust really happened, he could be going into jail (up to five years inprisonment). Doubting the officially released 6 million dead figure is also unlawful.

I am amazed that you can go to jail for having an opinion. I have always been against this holocaust denial law. Does this mean that if the original estimate of , say 6 million, with new evidence turns out to be too little (or too much) and I discuss this in public…I can go to jail? What about the final number of how many millions of Slavs died? Why can’t they also get a law like this? They died just for being Slavs after all. What a pathetic law. Don’t think this, or even discuss it publically or you will be jailed? ….Jeez… talk about freedom of expression or speech. I am not a denier, but this certainly plays into the hands of people that want to deny things. It’s almost like smelling a rat.. ( or a racket..) All this does is re-inforce stereotypes that we should be seeking to dispel.

Hope the Rooivalk gets it.. I saw one up close and it is a nice big powerful rugged attack helicopter… The South African Airforce is very happy with it and has stated that they would like to order more, maybe in conjunction with an export order. So here’s holding thumbs..

Never seen that before…a 14 bomb load-out. I never knew the existence of those 2 rear pylons…..I wonder if the Kfir and Cheetah have those pylons relocated to the front beneath the intakes as a result of the longer forward fuselage/canard config and the resultant shift in CG.

Absolutely. I see nothing wrong with discussing anything in History. I do not believe in sacred cows….. If anything , he’ll have to prove it didn’t happen. I might not agree with him but Freedom of speech and all that…
