Nick Mason, Pink Floyd drummer, flies helicopters and a replica Piper Cub.

I thought it was Tony Underwood who flew for Easy Jet.

Oh Yeah, Astraeus. I remember now.
As well as the band and airliners he is also a radio presenter, when does he sleep.

Bruce ****inson of Iron Maiden flys airliners, I think for Monarch but I might be wrong. He also has a Piper Aztec.

Dave Greenfield who plays keyboards for The Stranglers also has a license as does BBC weather forcastor Helen Young.

    Oh, and Alan De Cadenet.

There is a single seat Pitts S1-C for sale on http://www.barnstormers.com based in Bedford UK. Click aerobatic and then Pitts. Its on page one of the Pitts adds.
    Great little aircraft.

The Extra 300 is a fanatastic aeroplane but expensive to operate. If you do get one, get a better colour scheme than the one above.

I’d also look at two seat Pitts or Christen Eagle or something like that.

    Hi Damien
A camera would have been good. I doubt I’ll ever see the Reds from that angle again.

The 100 ( or loo:D ) in the sky wasn’t bad for a first time effort and I certainly enjoyed being in the Extra while Denny performed the 100.

The Reds flew through Little Staughton, 9 miles away from OW.

A solo Hawk managed to get through though.

The episode of Scrapheap Challenge where three teams had to build an aeroplane using early 1900s materials was repeated tonight. Also I saw a snippet of Blue Peter the other day that was reprting on the anniversary from Duxford, so it is getting some coverage.
There really should be something on the 17th though.

In no particular order, it’ll probably change tomorrow.

Spitfire – for obvious reasons, Vb my fave.

Extra 300- I get regular flights in one, a fantastic experience that I never tire of.

Pitts S1 – Just looks great

    Hunter – As above

Vickers Viscount – Elegant prop liner

Vulcan – Sight, sound and childhood memories at shows

Bucker Jungmann – lovely Bi-plane, just beats Tiger moth on looks.

Ka 6 Glider – Looks good, aim to fly it one day.

Chipmunk – Regular sight during my childhood and a good looker, would love to fly in one. Any offers?

Southern Martlet – Again, just good looks.

But then there’s Mustang, Lancaster, Gladiator, Se5a, DH Moths, Auster, Stearman…………..

    Hi skybolt

I didn’t intend to suggest that Rob Millinship should donate G-FLIK to the collection. I just thought I’d mention he owns one and anyway, I like to see the different variants of Pitts from the earlier S1’s to the Super Stinker that flew there earlier this year.
